If you are travelling up to see us then why not make a weekend of it or stay around Yorkshire for a few days? Our driver will pick you up & take you back from one of our local train stations (South Elmsall or Moorthorpe), so that you can continue your journey to wherever your plans or mood takes you.

Below you will find some information on how to travel to us, as well as some ideas for some local accommodation in the area, should you decide to stay around the area for a few days.

Booking your train journey

Travelling by train is by far the fastest and most convenient way to travel to us and a ticket from as far away as London King's Cross can cost as little as £55 per person!

If you decide that you want to spend a few days up here to take in the sites and attractions after your visit, then there are many hotels in the area to accommodate you.

Visit the historical town of York with its dungeons, waxworks and Jorvik Viking centre that is sure to keep the whole family entertained for a good few hours.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park (Doncaster)

Visit Yorkshire's award-winning walk through wildlife park. A great family day out and something that they kids will absolutely love!

National Coal Mining Museum (Wakefield)

The coal mining museum allows you to venture 140 meters below ground to discover more about the lives of coal miners. An excellent excursion whatever the weather!

Royal Armouries (Leeds)

Visit the Royal Armouries for an entertaining day for the whole family. From galleries to elephant armour and interactive displays, a fun day is assured. There are also family activities during school holidays.

York's Chocolate Story (York)

Visit York's Chocolate Story where you can learn all about the origins of chocolate, taste it and even make your own chocolate bar!

Xscape (Castleford)

Visit Xscape in Castleford if you are looking for some high energy fun! it has everything from 4D golfing, bowling, cinema, skate park, trampoline park, right down to a soft play area for the young ones.

Flamingo Land

Visit Flamingo Land for a fun packed family day out or even stopover in their holiday resort for a night as well. The resort has 375 acres of countryside which includes a zoo, a holiday resort and a theme park.

Cannon Hall Farm

Cannon Hall farm is a great family day out. The farm has been established for over 25 years now and is one of the most popular farms in the UK. As well as a farm, Cannon Hall also sports the biggest children's adventure playground in the north of England.

If you are looking for a little retail therapy then there are many places in Yorkshire that can assist, ranging from Meadowhall in Sheffield, Lakeside Village in Doncaster & York's Designer Outlet.


At the end of a busy day it's nice to relax and have a meal in a good restaurant and to be looked after. Did you also know that Yorkshire has 6 Michelin star restaurants? That's the most Michelin star restaurants for a city, outside of London!


Brodsworth Hall & Gardens

Visit Brodsworth Hall & Gardens, 5 miles North West of Doncaster. This hall has not changed since 1860 and is a great example of a Victorian country house.

Newby Hall & Gardens

Visit Newby Hall & Gardens, one of Yorkshire's best family attractions where you can see tapestries, 25 acres of gardens, an adventure garden with sand pit, swings & aerial ropeway as well as pedalo boats.

North Yorkshire Moors Railway

Take a trip on a fabulous steam train on the World's most popular heritage railway line. It will take you through the North York moors and stops at various places where you can take the opportunity to visit a local market town, take a walk through the country side or have a relaxing cream tea in the station tea room.
