Rigid kitchens are factory built by experts, they arrive ready for installation saving you a considerable amount of time and money. There precise Glue & Dowel construction is favoured by most leading European manufacturers.

A robust unit is created as there is no movement of joints by screws moving loose and there are no visible fixings on the outside which is often the case with Flat Pack kitchens.

Back panel thickness is important as it adds rigidity to the construction of a cabinet. Back panels that are 8mm or thicker are easy to cut or drill if required.

Thinner back panels do not aid the rigidity of cabinets and can be flimsy and awkward to drill/saw. Very thick back panels can add unnecessary weight to cabinets, infringe on service void space and also be difficult to cut/drill.
