The online design system was easy to use as well and the support that came with it was incredible, everyone I spoke to was so helpful, it made the designing process easy and enjoyable. Any issues along the way were dealt with so easily, they were so accommodating as well.
The quality of the units and the doors is impressive. Our fitter who has seen a lot of kitchens had never fitted a DIY kitchen before ours, but said how impressed he was the quality and the ease of use compared to other well know kitchen brands. They said they would recommend it to other clients now. I would 100% use them again and highly recommend them to anyone. '
Gail from London 'The kitchen we had delivered in 2023 arrived on time, well packaged and with everything our builders needed to fit it for us. The units themselves are excellent quality, flawless in manufacture and retain a rich colour with just enough sheen. There were units for everything - the pull-out larder is our favourite, but we also included a fitted microwave, dishwasher and freezer. We also fitted narrow units and extended the worktop to give us a breakfast bar.
The extras made all the difference - the cutlery inserts, the soft close and the drawer side extensions just to make sure things don't fall out - made for a great finish. Customer service was fast and helpful when we needed it, bringing our attention to anything which seemed out of the ordinary with our order before mistakes were made. Brass handles and tap, plus a white worktop, gave us exactly the look we were after.
The time you put into designing your kitchen here is well worth it, we saved about £4,000 overall compared to our local kitchen shop - with prices going up and up, this is a way to save without compromising quality.'

We made the decision to move our kitchen from a separate room in our house to the main living space in our stone barn. This was a scary decision as it needed to fit seemlessly into an already established room. I was keen on a bespoke kitchen but knew that with our budget, that would be out of the question. We had good look at all the other high street brands but nothing seemed to work with the old rustic look or stone wall that would be a feature in the new space.
We were introduced to DIY kitchens by a neighbour who had just had a kitchen fitted. We were so impressed with the quality of the units and loved the fact that they were almost bespoke ie you could choose which side cupboard doors were hung and the units arrived fully assembled. When I found out that the painted units I liked the look of were made from solid wood we were sold and I was excited to incorporate unpainted units into my island idea.
DIY Kitchens offered so many unit sizes and styles (far more than its competitors) and the customer service was incredibly helpful when I was unsure of whether my design would work. We opted for a quartz worktop which had a rust effect running through it. This was such a success as we couldn’t find anything similar with any other companies. The quartz worktop blended beautifully with the stone and all my rustic accessories.
We are delighted with the finished kitchen, complete with 2 metre square island which sits over an old elm unit we adapted. Everything about it is perfect and I can honestly say that it has changed our lives. Several people have commented that it fits in so well and have asked whether we had to take out a new mortgage to pay for what they thought was a bespoke kitchen! '

We saved a significant amount compared to the three other quotes we had but being able to have the bespoke colour match for the units was the deciding factor, as I had my heart set on a bespoke island and only one of the other companies could do a custom colour but were more expensive and the units were nowhere near as nice.
Our joiner said they were solid and easy to fit and your customer service was great, especially as I somehow managed to delete the dishwasher door from my order but one was sent very quickly! Thank you - I smile every morning when I walk in!'

We were set on an inframe kitchen and found the DIY Kitchens inframe range to be better quality and value than similar ones from elsewhere.
Overall impression is excellent cabinets and doors. We love the natural oak carcasses and the inframe doors are stunning. The sales team was also very accommodating by making us a larder unit as extra tall (non-standard) with door balconies, so that it matched in with the extra tall integrated fridge and freezer housings. Anna & Si from Bristol 'We would like to share our fantastic experience of using DIY Kitchens for our kitchen renovation in 2022. From the outset, we found the planning tool really easy to use and map out what our new kitchen would look like using our architect's drawings.
The quality of the cupboards and the quartz worktop is fantastic and we have received multiple compliments on the colour, which is one of DIY kitchen's own range. Due to delays with the build, we had to change the delivery date and delivery address on one occasion, which DIY kitchens did without issue.
We did shop around before deciding to use DIY Kitchens but found that other companies did not have such an extensive range of unit sizes or colours as DIY Kitchens. In addition, the price was very competitive. We couldn't be happier with it!'

We were between DIY Kitchens and one other company, however, they had a 12 month lead time, and didn't deliver to Scotland. We picked DIY as they were easy to deal with and we were happy with the samples we ordered. We also liked the significant flexibility in cabinet combination and sizing to fit any oven or built in appliance.
The customer service team were fantastic and very quick to respond to queries. Mick was really helpful ensuring our vision eventuated into a real kitchen and made sure all the cabinets would line up how we wanted (as the island was complicated). The order was also checked over before finalising in case any minor detail is overlooked.
The delivery team were extremely careful and diligent moving the cabinets into the house and explained how to check for damage and the process if we were not happy with a quality issue. Once the kitchen was unpacked and installed, it was noted there was a damaged drawer (from transport). This was easily and briskly resolved with replacement being sent.
As you can see from the pictures, we are super happy with our kitchen, it has transformed how we interact as a family, entertain friends and is now the main hub of our house. We are very happy with the quality, finish, strength of the drawers, shelves and doors. Everyone that visits thinks the same!'

We converted some existing out buildings at the back of our house (garage/stable) into a new kitchen/dining space and created a “snug” where the existing very dated pine kitchen was before. I heard about DIY Kitchens from a number of different places but mainly a Facebook group I’m in that was talking about where people had sourced their kitchens from, and how much they paid! Initially I thought that DIY kitchens meant that I would have to build everything from scratch and that the process would be a more manual/laborious one, but once I realised and found the online planner, I’ve been hooked - including designing some kitchens for other friends and family! 😊
I work in Rotherham, so managed to sneak out of the office early one afternoon to visit the showroom and I was totally blown away by the quality, options, ranges and just how lovely everything looked there. The staff were really friendly and helpful and it was a really happy at
I chose the in-frame Helmsley in Mussel and Cobham blue – my kitchen fitters were very impressed with the solid built cabinets, and the fact that all of the doors were already on! The cabinets, the doors and all of the worktops look just how I imagined they would with a high quality feel and finish that looks very high-end without the price tag; the overall customer experience was a great one. The worktop templaters were lovely and turned around our installation, from measuring up, in a week!
I’m not sure the photos really do it justice, but we are so delighted with our new living space, and it certainly its a huge talking point with our friends and family and visitors to the house.

The support from the customer service team was good with quick response times. Delivery was delayed however we were notified of this in advance. We had some damaged items but replacements were issued relatively quickly. The quality is fantastic in comparison to some of the well known kitchen brands and it allowed me to be creative with my design.
My very particular carpenter was very impressed by the quality of the doors when making the carcass for the utility space (around the American fridge).
We used a carpenter and kitchen fitter to give us a bespoke kitchen feel and the same in the utility - I wanted skirting rather than plinth; to go as high as possible in the kitchen cabinets to fill unutilised space and to carry the kitchen through in to the utility. I think we achieved it.
Despite a price increase before my order, and us using a carpenter and kitchen fitter (who were not cheap but worth every penny!) we still managed to come in lower than the quote given to us by high street kitchen brands, whos designs we found to be very unimaginative! They said I couldn’t do what I designed, so I’ve proven them wrong thanks to diy kitchens. The delivery team were good too. '

As you can see I did use units in perhaps a way not intended to create a breakfast bar - which actually tend to be where I sit with my computer now and the only difficulty was the rounded corner units, which don't have all the sizes on line, leaving me with a bit of worktop adjustment.
I used oak tops and decided that as I was going around two corners, I didn't want to have a right angled line of laminated wood so I made two wide sections of worktop to get the depth and cut them to give a 45degree angle which to me seems more naturally flowing.
I routed the underside of the worktops where they overhang and inset LED lights. This was to be honest a bit challenging to say the least but the end result works I think.
I've enclosed the before shot of a temporary kitchen I quickly knocked up when I started the house renovation. I figured it would be in place about a year or so. Ten years later.....'

Our experience with DIY kitchens has been fantastic. Our newly extended kitchen was a blank slate when we started. Still small in size, we knew we needed to make use of every square inch of space and found the array of shapes and sizes that the units came in allowed us to do so. The shallow 300mm cupboards allowed us to make excellent use of otherwise wasted space and our little kitchen bench was made by adapting a strengthened top-box unit on legs.
We wanted a bespoke kitchen and DIY Kitchens allowed us to get the look we wanted for a fraction of the cost. We requested that the cabinets came finished with just a primer coat so that we could hand-paint them in-situ for a more handmade look to match our colourful terrazzo floor.
The cabinets are incredibly solid and easy to fit and we're confident that they're going to last us for years to come. When we get bored or the paint begins to look tired, we can refresh the whole look of the kitchen with just a new lick of paint.
Our incredibly fussy cat loves the new space too. If only he would keep off the worktops and stick to the bench!

This has been very much a DIY project in a new-build house, as I have done all the installation myself. We discovered DIY Kitchens from a web search and were impressed with how the ordering process gives you a very large range of options to customise your kitchen just as you want it.
We chose a paler grey for the units around two walls, and a darker grey for the island. We placed the order just as the covid pandemic was starting, despite which delivery was only slightly delayed and I was able to progress the work steadily.
The units and accessories were well packed and straightforward to assemble. The quality was good and I have been particularly impressed with the toughness of the paint finish – it has withstood various minor knocks, and although you provided some touch up paint I have not so far had to use it.'

Having never bought, let alone design, a new kitchen before, the 3D planner was an excellent way for me to experiment and visualise what units I wanted and where to put them.
Olivia, in particular who helped me check my final design was amazing! She helped me sort out all my technical issues and work out what I needed to include and fulfil the image I had in my head. I have had numerous friends ask where we got our kitchen from and I have not hesitated to recommend DIY kitchens to everyone.
I think my own parents are planning a trip from the West Country to Yorkshire just to visit the showroom as they are so impressed with the quality, which really is saying something!'

The bricks are real. The kitchen is a new extension that we had built this year and they are the original bricks from the back of the house. My hubby made up a 50/50 emulsion/water mix to white wash them and then used a damp cloth to dabb off and reveal the brick texture. It took him ages ;-).

I wasn’t very confident about planning my new kitchen so I hired an independent kitchen designer. He had designed a couple of diy kitchens for other customers and was able to reassure me about the quality. He measured up and created the plan on software so that I could get several views of the kitchen and created a list for me to place my order!
The kitchen was going into a new room and I wanted proper plans for our builders to get all the electrics and waste etc in the right place. Having been through the process I probably could have done it myself quite easily but for the price of a cupboard I think it was worth the peace of mind.
I’m very pleased with the finished results it looks good and works well.

I love all of my integrated appliances - especially the washing machine! My freezer is hidden in the oak units and all of the others are hidden in the cream units. Would we use DIY Kitchens again? A definite yes. We found DIY Kitchens whilst searching online for alternatives to the usual high Street retailers.
Having had a few quotes, and then comparing against DIY Kitchens, it was obvious that their prices were very competitive. What we liked was being able to price alternative kitchen styles and designs to see how these fitted our budget, without having to spend hours in kitchen showrooms!
We visited their showroom twice. If you can get there, I would recommend it. We used the sample door service which was great for checking colours, they can look quite different in different lighting.
Ordering was very straightforward. Being able to amend the order upto the cutoff time was really useful as we added some additional units just before the cutoff without a problem.
Delivery was via the two man delivery and everything was very well packaged. I would recommend the two man delivery unless you have a few strong people to hand.
With being fully assembled the units can be heavy. We used the online support both before and after ordering and this was very straightforward.
We are really pleased with the final kitchen and quality of all the units. Being fully assembled saves a lot of time and really adds to quality of the final installation, especially if to you choose to fit yourself as we did.

I have had several comments from men as well as ladies on the handles. I have recommended your kitchens to anyone who wants to know and when I tell them how much the units cost, they are amazed.
I had to ring several times when the kitchen was being fitted as I had overlooked some items that were necessary, this being due to the fact I had never designed my own kitchen before, all the items I requested were speedily forwarded so no delay for the fitter. Managed to get a butchers block from Next in the sale which matched perfectly and also had some built in seating made which we painted to match, kitchen looks amazing and we are absolutely over the moon with it.

I bought online without a visit to the showroom, although I had trawled the internet high and low for reviews and photos of customers experiences of DIY Kitchens. I ordered the Helmsley Bespoke Painted Kitchen in 2 different colours. Having opted for platinum service delivery, the units arrived on the nominated day and were extremely well packaged. Even my kitchen fitters commented that they had never seen kitchen units so well protected before. As soon as the units were unwrapped I knew that I had made the right choice. The quality of the cabinets is amazing and I now feel like I have a kitchen that competes with (or is better than!) some of those overpriced high street kitchen retailers.
Putting the kitchen together on paper was all consuming....but I loved it. We wanted to retain our hob, sink and 2 existing worktops, which meant that I needed numerous unit sizing options to ensure I could put together an attractive yet practical run of units that would fit perfectly under our existing worktop measurements. This is really where DIY Kitchens comes into its own. So many size and range choices. Even better was the ability to play around with different configurations and having transparent pricing. I could know within an instant whether a particular configuration was going to cost too much money, rather than waiting for a kitchen planner to come up with a "magic number" that I would have no idea how it was arrived at or what to do about it if it was too expensive for our budget.
I also wanted a particular type of cornicing and square chamfered pilasters that aren't widely available (and were not available from DIY Kitchens at the time of ordering either). I sourced those items elsewhere and had them sprayed in my bespoke colours to match. Easy. It all came together seamlessly.
We are delighted with our kitchen which has been operational for the last 3 months. Now all I have to do is stop bragging about how "cheap" it was!'

I was really pleased to see that I could afford the kitchen that I wanted, if it came directly from you. We travelled to Yorkshire to visit your showroom which was really useful, so much to see. We had intended to buy a painted kitchen but fell in love with Harewood Oak. If you travel to Yorkshire try and avoid a Saturday as it is very busy. The staff were very helpful both in the showroom and later over the phone. With their help we were able to customise our kitchen.
We had to delay delivery twice but this was not a problem. Upon delivery we had a couple of damaged /incorrect items and I also returned two panels that I had bought in error. All were replaced/refunded.
We are really pleased with the quality and build of our kitchen and it was amazing value for money. I love the radius feature ends, the 300mm deep cupboards on the island and the large drawers. We were able to fit it all ourselves. We bought the granite locally as we could not find what we wanted in Yorkshire.
We bought enough units to do our kitchen, utility room and to build a cupboard over the boiler in the cloakroom. This included doors and a side panel to build an extra deep laundry cupboard for the utility room. This has allowed me to stack the washing machine and tumble drier and still have room on top for the laundry basket and the ironing board at the side (sorry I could not get a good picture of this).
We love the finished kitchen and will return to DIY Kitchens.com to buy cupboards for other parts of our house.'

Following a new kitchen extension and some ‘issues’ with the build we needed to re-visit our proposed new kitchen project.
We had the ridiculous quotes from some prestige kitchen companies and also visited numerous
local manufacturers and the main DIY chain stores.
Several conversations with your very helpful pre-sales staff, a lot of playing using your planning tools convinced us to pursue what we wanted with DIY – and we are pleased we did.
We did make a couple of visits to your showroom to assess your units and colours in ‘real life’. Staff were most helpful and we even got an impromptu tour of the manufacturing facility.
Finally we ordered and although found the website ordering a bit cumbersome when repeating the same unit it all went without a hitch and the total price was very acceptable.
We did have a few issues as we had requested a specific colour for some of the units and there was some confusion over the supply of a solid vs glazed door of a particular size.
This was picked up by your customer support/post sales staff who contacted us and helped to resolve without issue.
We were kept informed of progress throughout your manufacturing and delivery process which was great. Your delivery team were brilliant – they were 15 minutes (yes minutes) early and were very efficient on getting the units into our premises even in the dark and the rain.
The packaging was very good – (wish I had shares in card and bubble wrap) – although there were a couple of small manufacturing marks on two units. Mentioned this to your customer support (who had called us to check all was OK) and they sent out replacements – no question.
Your customer support ticketing system works very well although might seem a little alien to those not used to that sort of system.However, it works well, questions were resolved promptly and accurately.So we are impressed with the company, now onto the kitchen…
The fitting was actually quite enjoyable and went together well and easily. Units all fitted as we had planned although we subsequently did order some additional shelves and brackets once it was all in place.
Absolutely no issue with any of the units although as this is all ‘diy’ there were a few concerns when fitting appliances and even though you are ‘on your own’ your customer support
were always able to offer advice.
Continually ‘showing off’ the new kitchen to the extent that friends are now re-fitting their own and are,( if have not already done so), going to use DIY-Kitchens.

The kitchen is well constructed very accurately made with no oversized or undersized units.
The door construction was very good quality and the soft close mechanisms worked a treat. The in-frame design required very little final adjustment.
We chose Corian work tops from CJEM in Fishponds Bristol. The variations and range of units was considerable and enabled us to design our perfect kitchen. We could not achieve this with the other high street kitchen suppliers, particularly the internal curved door units.
From knocking down a dividing wall and installing a new oak beam we have doubled the size of our kitchen and made it more practicable. The underfloor heating radiates a very comfortable even heat. It has taken a lot of thought, hard work and time, but now we have a great kitchen.
It all started from a detailed scale drawing and many views of the DIY Kitchen web site to select the correct units. I paid a visit to the factory before placing the order which was worth while. People may think that just because it's called DIY kitchens that you are getting a cheap substandard kitchen. This is far from the case and you are getting a VERY high quality kitchen, which if you are bold enough will save you tons of money. Our initial design drawings as in the photo.

Joanna from Surrey 'We chose an in-frame kitchen (Harewood Painted Alabaster and Grey) as we live in a character country house and wanted it to be in keeping.
The kitchen has lots of character of its own (stone wall, vaulted ceiling, beams) so wanted to keep it clean and neutral with mainly Harewood alabaster. I added some units in grey which I think work really well as break up the alabaster.
I wanted tall units rather than lots of wall units to help keep it as uncluttered looking as possible (a hard task in our household!).
I also chose one lone unit in Harewood Oak as we have oak beams and an oak table so this helped bring it together.
My favourite parts of the kitchen (apart from the quality) is the pull out larder, pull out bin, large pan drawers and that nearly all the cupboard handles go horizontally (which helps it look less cluttered, more stream lined and appeases me immensely!)
We used a grey quartz for the work top.
I have since recommended you to several people. My sister has since placed an order and I am ordering Luca Gloss Dove Grey for our rental apartment in London. I also think that will look fabulous.
