Nicky & Harri from Suffolk '(@nickyandharri - Instagram) We have just taken this dilapidated house and made it into a beautiful dream home. After asking our Instagram followers who to use for the renovation, a crazy amount of people replied with DIY Kitchens. From thereon in, we know who we were going to use.
The whole design element is where we came into our element, getting to see the kitchen design on the screen for the first time was just so cool. The old kitchen was completely ripped out and the online planner help us to make full use of the kitchen space, to create a family kitchen/diner.
After getting some door and worktop samples, we visited the DIY Kitchens showroom to see everything in real life and as soon as I saw this one particular worktop that I had my eye on, I know the Unique quartz was the one for me.
One thing we did notice about DIY Kitchens was the quality, specifically the door thickness and how well built it all feels. The delivery and installation process were also so easy and we loved the fact that all the units came fully built. We just needed to put them in place and level them.
We cannot thank DIY Kitchens enough for helping us to transform this space from a derelict building site, into our dream home.'

Sarah from Somerset 'Really happy with the service from start to finish and found the planner fairly easy to use and we fitted the kitchen ourselves. We did everything apart from the flooring.
We would highly recommend DIY Kitchens, the delivery staff came all the way down to Weston-super-Mare for us. Flapjacks were amazing we would definitely use DIY again on our next house.'
Megan from Essex 'My husband and I are absolutely over the moon with the outcome - the quality and finish are fantastic and our kitchen fitter could not sing your praises enough with the ease of fitting. He said it was a dream to install :)
It also helped that we achieved a huge saving compared to some of your other competitors (i.e Howdens, Benchmarx, Wren Kitchens) and so we were able to use our remaining budget for quartz worktops and kitchen appliances.'
Anthony from Cheltenham 'Our kitchen was in a right state and really falling apart, so we had to do something I looked at loads of kitchens when choosing and eventually travelled up to DIY Kitchens' showroom with my wife. We were so impressed with the quality and finish of all of the kitchens on display and we went with one idea and came back with something completely different.
As a kitchen fitter, I was prepared to cause some damage (scratches or dents in the finish) during the fitting but the finish is so tough this didn’t happen! And it still looks great almost a year later. The fact that the kitchen came ready assembled was a great help. The instructions were really helpful and easy to follow and we are really pleased with the end result.
We had two visits from 'kitchen designers’ from well know high street suppliers but all they could offer was the same layout but in different cabinets. We knew we could use the space better, so when I found the design tool on DIY Kitchens' website and went to work designing it ourselves. The design tool was easy to use and we were able to play about with different layouts until we found the one we felt would work best for us and our space.
The cost of the units, dishwasher and fridge from DIY Kitchens including the worktops, was almost half the price of the two other high street brands and much better quality. Fitting it myself also saved money - without DIY Kitchens, I wouldn’t have been able to afford the quality of kitchen that we now have.'
John & Sally from Northampton 'We had shopped around having had kitchens in the past from 2 other well-known providers, but their total costs were not in the budget we were hoping to use.
DIY Kitchens was recommended by a friend, who enthused greatly over their kitchen. We did a search and looked at the choices at DIY and we had many samples sent to help us decide, we were nicely surprised at the quality and robustness.
Our saving ran into thousands and nothing was compromised, in actual fact, we added more in our plan than when we started looking for a new kitchen, a wine fridge and those fabulous deep Belfast sinks.
We trusted the process and the customer service we received was refreshing, no query was too much trouble.
Delivery day went well, and we were surprised how much came assembled, but this helped with a smooth installation. We saved lots of money and still have the kitchen we wanted and the quality speaks for itself. Thank you DIY.'
Jessica from Leicestershire 'We are in love with our new kitchen, it's exactly how we envisioned it and feels completely luxury after 2 years living in a renovation!
The online kitchen planner was so easy to use and I loved being able to test different layouts and cabinets until we were 100% happy. The kitchen was delivered really quickly and the prebuilt units felt really sturdy and good quality.
We shopped around before settling on DIY Kitchens and the nearest quote we were able to get was about £1500 more but with a flatpack range, so we not only got a cheaper price through DIY Kitchens but we got better quality as well.'
Sharon and Dave from Southport 'We’re very impressed with our DIY kitchen and utility room. We heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend and travelled to visit the showroom (very impressive and no pushy sales!). Our contractor however was keen to go with a local supplier and we had designs/ quotes from 2. Neither provided the colour we wanted as a “stock” colour, or the curved unit we wanted. We told the contractor we were going with DIY Kitchens, spent anxious hours with the online planner as we’d never done anything like this before and raised lots of questions with the planning team.
Once the kitchen arrived and fitting started, the contractor commented that the quality was the best he’d come across. He asked the price and was amazed, in fact he thought it didn’t include the utility room units! He was so impressed he was considering supplying a service to clients to plan and supply DIY Kitchens!
Although having to plan your own kitchen is a bit of a concern, with hindsight it means you get exactly what you want and the space works as you need it to. The cost saving was considerable and the quality is amazing.'
Sue from London 'We were having an extension built and creating a brand new kitchen, diner and utility in the space. Our son @Brooksbuildingdevelopment was building the extension and he recommended a well known kitchen company and fitter so we got a quote from them. But, I kept wondering about DIY Kitchens- I’d heard a lot about them on various social media sites, so I got a like for like quote from you and got some sample doors.
Your quote was over £4,000 cheaper, so we decided to make the journey to your showroom in Pontefract. We loved all the kitchens - the choice and quality was amazing (and plentiful supplies of and coffee and biscuits kept us going for the day that we spent there!), There were so many options for different types of cupboard and drawer units it was very hard to decide but the staff were really helpful.
In the end we went for Clayton Cobham Blue and went home to double check everything over. We made some (quite a lot!) of changes and each time the customer service on the phone was so helpful. Our final change was the colour - I decided to go for Cashmere instead of Cobham blue. I’m so glad I did - love the blue but the cashmere looks so light and airy in our space. Our builder had never fitted a kitchen before but we persuaded him to do it and he was really impressed with the quality and how easy he thought it was to fit it.
We upgraded to soft-close drawers, doors and pull- out larder units and high sided pan drawers (love them!). So altogether we had more units, of a higher quality and specification and still saved several thousand pounds on our original quote. I can’t recommend DIY Kitchens enough.'
David & Dione Essex 'DIY Kitchens have an unbeatable combination of quality, customisation, and affordability, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to create their dream kitchen.
Sturdy pre-assembled units with a great range of styles and finishes, every detail reflects top-tier craftsmanship. Their online planning tools are easy to use, empowering customers to design with confidence.
Customer service was prompt, professional, and always ready to assist. With DIY Kitchens, you're investing in a long-lasting, beautiful space. Truly a winning experience!
I found out about DIY Kitchens on Google and YouTube and saved around £3,000 by using DIY Kitchens over other quotes.'
Lisa from Essex 'We visited the showroom 3 years ago, after hearing about DIY Kitchens online. The first kitchen we saw was this colour combination complete with chandelier and that was what I wanted and kept this image in my head through the long months of the extension being built. I was beyond excited on delivery day, which went smoothly.
All the units were well packaged and I had also forgott to order one unit, but both these issues were soon sorted out. My husband fitted the kitchen, the floor and my wonderful chandelier!
We did look elsewhere and had some very poor plans drawn up, so I got the laptop out and did it myself. Had a like for like quote and saved £6000 by going with DIY.
Not sure what my favourite part is, as I love it all, but highlights are the pantry, washing machine cupboard, Belfast sink in front of the window (centred exactly) and the mantle over he hob- oh and the soft close cupboard doors. '
Peter and Judith from Lancs 'We are delighted with our new kitchen from DIY Kitchens! Our original kitchen was too small for us so we decided to remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room and go for a kitchen/dining room combined, which has given us much better use of the available space and looks fantastic!
One of my wife's work colleagues told her about DIY Kitchens, so we had a look at their website and we're so impressed by the choice and prices, we decided to visit the showroom in Yorkshire to see the quality of the units first hand and we were not disappointed! We decided on the Stanbury units in mussel with block walnut worktops.
Everything was delivered on time and well packaged, ready for me to install. We can't recommend DIY Kitchens highly enough. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and our kitchen units were at least £1,000 cheaper than any other like for like quotes we had from the usual high street chains.'
Chris & Rosalind from Derby 'We have been very pleased with our new kitchen. The quality of the units, doors, drawers and worktops has been really impressive.
We heard about DIY Kitchens through our kitchen fitter and it definitely saved us money, whilst delivering a very high standard of kitchen.
Our kitchen comprises of a kitchen area with an island unit, which links through a narrower part (with tall cupboards and fridge/freezer) to a utility room, with all the washing/ironing/cleaning equipment. We have it all topped off with a drawer for outdoor shoes by the back door! It all works brilliantly!'
Claudia from Hampshire 'Last year my dishwasher pipework sprung a leak! By the time I noticed the smell, the floor was ruined and needed to be replaced. Using this as an opportunity to update the kitchen, I decided to change all the cupboard/drawer fronts, skirting boards and put in a new unit as well.
A local kitchen fitter told me about DIY Kitchens. So having chosen the colour and design, we went ahead and made the order. Although it is quite a small kitchen, I was surprised by how much was needed. However, the price was so reasonable compared to other companies that it was an easy choice to make.
Two cheerful and helpful men appeared one night to deliver it all and filled the kitchen with all that was needed. Once unwrapped, I could see that the quality was very high. Although it has taken a while for everything to be completed, it has proved to be a lovely workspace. The paintwork is of a very high standard and is really durable.
Regardless of the competition, it has been a good opportunity for me to say thank you for the whole service you provided. I am so happy with it all. '
Dave from Lancashire 'I recently retired and we needed a new kitchen. We went looking all around the local area for kitchens, then after
searching the Internet I came across DIY Kitchens. We went to the showroom to have a look and I was impressed with
the quality and price.
I've done lots of DIY over they years, so I decided to do the fitting myself. The online planner made it easy to design and rearrange the layout and they answered all my questions about the things that I wasn't sure about.
I've saved loads of money and got a quality kitchen. Since then I've done another room and made it into a utility room using this company.'
Sarah from Devon 'Really impressed with the whole service DIY Kitchens offered. The quality control checks ensured any damaged pieces weren't delivered and replacement doors sent very quickly after the main delivery. The worktop installation team were excellent and the over quality of the units and worktop is top notch.
Heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend at work whose parents were very pleased with their DIY kitchen. I also saved money compared to a very similar IKEA design, plus the benefit of not having to construct all the units ourselves. '
Barbara from Wales 'I love my new kitchen, I decided to install it myself and couldn't be happier with the results. The units were sturdy and well put together and the doors were far better quality than others I had looked at elsewhere. I saved £800 on the best quote at another retailer and I got a far better kitchen. '
Emily from Greater Manchester 'We found the quality of the units to be really good. Our kitchen fitter (who is very picky) commented on how good the quality was and they were straight forward to fit.'
Heather from Grampian 'We had a DIY Kitchens kitchen fitted in our harbour side cottage in Scotland. We are delighted with the look, quality and amount of storage within our tiny kitchen. We will certainly use DIY Kitchens again.
We found you online and traveled to Yorkshire to visit your amazing showroom before placing an order. Even managed to use the door samples as picture frames.'
Thomas from Glasgow 'Here are some before and after photos of my kitchen fitted from DIY Kitchens. It's a white shaker style, brilliant quality of unit and nice thick doors, which add to the quality of the kitchen.
A partition wall was removed to add more space to the kitchen/diner area, where the centre piece island sits. A window was also removed to add in French patio doors to gain more light into the kitchen area, which really brings out the effect of the white marble compact laminate worktops.
Inspired projects have dealt with many kitchen suppliers and comparing them to other suppliers we have used, it is probably the best quality we have used out of the rest.'
Steve from Northumberland 'We originally bought all the kitchen units and appliances from yourselves in Nov 2019, then in 2024 decided to change the look of the kitchen from dark grey to a more traditional cream door. The replacement doors have given us exactly what we wanted, a fantastic transformation of the kitchen, and real easy to swap over. The carcasses are excellent quality and very sturdy. We opted for Dekton worktops, a superb choice, after 4 years they still look brand new. '
Louise from Beaconsfield 'The quality is amazing, and really happy with the bespoke colour matching. I heard about them from a staff member at another kitchen supplier, and they said they are great quality with a better price. We saved approx £3,500 compared to the mainstream kitchen suppliers.'
Elisabeth from Liverpool 'Here are some photos of my kitchen that we bought from yourselves. My husband Neil installed it by himself (he’s not a builder!). We’re so happy with it. '
Samantha from Hampshire 'Here are some photos of before, during and after of the kitchen.'
Andrew & Lori from Falkirk 'We’re really glad we found DIY Kitchens. The quality of the cabinets, fittings and doors has been excellent. They were straight forward to fit, feel very sturdy and are easy to keep clean, which was important with a young family.
Their online tool also allowed us much more freedom to design the kitchen we really wanted and to play around with the design until we got it right for us. We had worked with a couple of high street kitchen names initially but found their approach to be rather standard, not allowing us the opportunity to bespoke the design to fit our space, so when we found DIY Kitchens, this really opened up our choices in terms of design.
The team at DIY Kitchens were also very proactive and helpful in assisting with any queries and we had great service from our delivery drivers when we received our order too. It’s been a very positive experience overall and one we’d happily recommend.
We found DIY Kitchens whilst doing some research on Instagram around the style of kitchen we were aiming for. We saw some content which tagged DIY Kitchens, so we checked out the website from there, and Lori then soon found the Facebook group which became a fantastic help during the design process we undertook.
Through using DIY Kitchens, we not only managed to lock down the perfect design for our narrow space, but we were also pleasantly surprised by the great value offered. Our kitchen cost half of the price we had been quoted by one well known kitchen company and it was around 1/3 of the price indicated to us by another local bespoke service. So we were really pleasantly surprised when our order was finalised and amazed at how good the quality is for the price.
We have recommended the company several times since having our kitchen fitted earlier this year.'
Julie Barrow in Furness '2nd time I’ve ordered from you after being recommended by family, wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Fabulous kitchen company!! Wow!!! Thanks again, one delighted customer.'
Lionel from Haslemere 'Here are some pictures of our lovely kitchen and why we love it so much.
When we started looking for a kitchen, we went to 4-5 high street retailers and DIY outlets to get some ideas and had both designs and quotes done, (all of them ended up being a third more expensive than what we paid with DIY Kitchens).
A friend of ours who had a kitchen recently fitted, (we liked the shaker style of their kitchen) told us to take a look at the DIY Kitchens website for ideas and choice of style and cabinets. They also told us their carpenter was impressed with the built quality of the units, which was a real bonus.
So we got started, making and playing with the online planner without knowing what style we wanted (we wanted at the beginning a modern kitchen and have ended up with a traditional shaker style kitchen in a custom paint colour).
With the custom paint and custom depth of some units, we really ended up with a bespoke kitchen that looks amazing. The built quality is great and the wood veneer and grains really look the part, adding a subtle texture to the room. We are so happy with this modern classic look.'
Coleen from Cheshire 'Such good quality and the easiest part of our reno by far! We heard about DIY Kitchens from our niece, who had done a stunning reno with DIY Kitchens. We saved thousands and were able to play with the online 3D view for ages, with your great on line staff helping at the press of a button, we got it just right.'
Grace from Cambridgeshire 'We have been blown away by the quality and service from all the team a DIY Kitchens. We have a lot of friends that had kitchens done around the same time but using different suppliers and we are so happy we used DIY.
We heard about DIY Kitchen on instagram and we saved over £5,000 from what we were quoted by other suppliers.'
Jemma from Nottinghamshire 'We heard about DIY Kitchens through a friend. We are renovating our Victorian property and I was at a friend's house admiring her kitchen. She said it was from DIY Kitchens. Upon visiting the showroom and her testimonial, I was happy to go ahead and shop with you. '
Dewi from South Wales 'The ease of ordering with DIY Kitchens is excellent, once you have chosen your style selecting options is easy, the choices are also very flexible.
The quality of the doors and units is exceptional, compared to some mainstream DIY store kitchens, they are streets ahead. Really solid and with the bonus of them being preassembled.
When compared with some mainstream DIY stores, DIY Kitchens were much cheaper, we saved around £2k on a comparable kitchen. Just be aware this is DIY, so some level of knowledge is necessary to order correctly. Adding additional items after delivery is also really easy. Would 100% reccomend this company. We found them on a simple search, give them a go, we are so pleased with the results. '
Adrienne from South Wales 'I heard about DIY Kitchens from my manager at work. The kitchen feels fantastic quality. Especially with the tongue and groove panels, thick soft closure doors and the upgraded dove tail sides. It looks and feels a lot more expensive than it was. We’ve gone from a cold, broken and uninviting kitchen, to the most homely modern country kitchen!
We made savings over other kitchen quotes: £24,000 Wickes, £14,650 Wren & DIY cost: £7,000.'
Brian from Herefordshire 'I installed our kitchen late last year having been down to see the kitchens in your showroom. The quality is honestly second to none and the price and choice is brilliant. Would (and have) recommended DIY Kitchens to lots of friends and family.'
Barry from Glasgow 'I have attached some pictures of my kitchen in Glasgow. I wanted wooden doors but Ikea did not supply them so I looked online and found your company. I am very happy with the kitchen, and also pleased with the support I got from Customer Services who were particularly helpful and accommodating.
The kitchen was much cheaper than B&Q who did supply wooden doors. The quality of everything is superb and I'm really glad I chose DIY Kitchen. '
Judith from Wales 'I am really happy with my kitchen. The quality is really good. The quartz worktops give it the perfect finishing touch. The customer service, throughout, was second to none. Very helpful, being kept updated with delivery etc.
I was recommended from my son, who had used DIY Kitchens, so I had seen for myself how good they are. It was a lot more value for money compared to the kitchen shops I had visited. Overall, a very happy customer.'
Lauraine from Ayrshire 'I'm really pleased with the quality of units and doors, even joiner commented on the quality and I made a saved of £2.5k compared to Howdens.'
Megan & Matthew from Cheshire 'We are over the moon with our dream kitchen. The quality is perfect, such craftsmanship has gone into each and every part from worktops to handles. Matthew and his Dad enjoyed fitting the kitchen because of this! We were inspired by our numerous road trips to the DIY Kitchens showroom and the vast choice. We love how our kitchen, it is so personal to us and we poured our heart and soul into this space.
We first heard about DIY Kitchens on Instagram and now recommend you to everybody we know! Although we didn’t get quotes from other kitchen companies, we know how much we saved from the years of research. Our kitchen truly is the heart of our home and our cat Alan thinks so too! '
Rick from Devon 'We ordered our kitchen in September last year and it duly arrived on time. Delivery by your team was excellent. There were a lot of boxes!!, everything well packaged and protected.
We’d heard of yourselves from a friend who’d installed one of your kitchens some years before. We have found, after visiting many showrooms, that DIY Kitchens were of better quality in all respects, and much better value, saving us enough to purchase additional items that were not offered by yourselves. All in all, a very positive experience.'
Nicola from Ormskirk 'I absolutely love my new kitchen! I made the decision to buy a more budget friendly kitchen and then use hardware to make it look more expensive than it was because I really think this kitchen was a bargain for the quality!
I saved so much money compared to quotes from other companies. Also the fact the kitchen is delivered with the units already built at no extra cost for that is amazing.
The delivery couldn't have been smoother and the quality of the units is the best I've ever had and I've used 2 other well known kitchen companies in the past. I can tell that this kitchen will last a very long time.
I found the idea of having to use a design tool for my kitchen plan a bit daunting but the software is actually really easy to work with and I quickly picked up how to use it. I also liked the fact that I was in control and not under pressure to make decisions like you are in a store. I swapped and changed the kitchen around so many times before I settled on the right design for our family life and then the ordering process was again straightforward and simple.
I wouldn't hesitate to use DIY Kitchens again and I've recommended them to friends and family.'
Bev from Gloucestershire 'Here are some before and after pics of our new kitchen. We are absolutely delighted! The support we received between planning and ordering was 1st Class and second to none!
We heard about DIY Kitchens on line through a YouTube kitchen fitter review. DIY Kitchens came out tops compared to other major Kitchen suppliers. On comparing ourselves, we found DIY Kitchens to be excellent quality and very competitive. Consequently we visited on 2 occasions and were so pleased with what we saw that we placed our order.
We have been the envy of our friends, whom we have highly recommended your company to.'
Hayley & Charlie from London 'This is our third kitchen we have ordered from DIY Kitchens and we are still as impressed as we were the first time. We have ordered different styles and colours with each of our three kitchens, but this one is our favourite one yet.
We adore the colour and detailing on each cupboard, which is complemented perfectly with our marble worktops. Thanks DIY Kitchens for yet another fabulous kitchen!'
Kelvin & Linda from Yorkshire 'We heard about DIY Kitchens from our son and also a neighbour. I had helped fit one of the kitchens to my son’s house and was impressed with the quality and the finish. As the units were ready assembled they made fitting much simpler than with flat pack options.
We got a few builder and kitchen quotes and were surprised by the variation. In the end we spent roughly half on DIY Kitchens and associated building work than one of the other quotes. The savings meant we could indulge ourselves with lovely appliances, including an AEG hob with downdraft extractor and a super "Bake Off" oven. We LOVE the Dekton worktop.
All in all we are delighted with the result. Visitors and guests love it to, and several have said they will definitely look to DIY kitchens as they are planning to upgrade their kitchens.'
Sue & Phil from York 'We really love our new kitchen, we have so much storage space now particularly with the deep drawerss.
I stumbled across DIY Kitchens when looking for options other than the big brand companies who reputation is so poor. We visited the showroom and didn’t look any further, as was sold on the quality and price.
I designed the kitchen for our new extension and used the planning tool myself, which was a great, the team at DIY were there on the phone if I needed help. Our builder was impressed with the quality of the units, much better than Howdens. '
Kathy from Warwickshire 'The kitchen was part of an extension project that we did. My husband is a Vicar and we had just retired to our own property. Our daughter recommended DIY Kitchens, as she had used them a couple of years ago.
Our builders were a bit skeptical having never fitted a DIY Kitchen before but were willing to try. They were very impressed with the quality of the kitchen and were super pleased that the kitchen units came ready built. We were also very impressed with the build and quality of the units.
My daughter helped me to plan the kitchen on your website and the builders fitted it for a fee, as part of the extension.
We saved ourselves £2k on the Howdens quote that we had done, and it meant we could have extra really useful items such as the pull out full height pantry and special corner units. Our granddaughters love showing people the pull out things!
I would recommend anybody trying to save some money to have a DIY Kitchens. It certainly helped us to when the budget was tight having just retired.'
Bill from Ayrshire 'We decided on DIY Kitchens after reading many reviews and trawling the internet and local kitchen suppliers. The range of units was extensive, the prices couldn’t be bettered and the online planner helped a great deal to plan our new extended kitchen.
When the builders arrived to start the wall removal etc they said they had also used DIY Kitchens previously and found them excellent.
Delivery was as scheduled and the guys were great, putting all the units in the garage. The pre-assembled dove grey and white cabinets were of excellent quality and out of all the units only two doors were very slightly damaged and these were replaced quickly. I have installed a few kitchens in my time and these units were by far the best.
Very happy with the kitchen, the painted finish looks as though it will be very hard wearing and great value for money. Highly recommended.'
Michaela from Wales 'Here are some pictures of our lovely kitchen in our log cabin. We are very pleased with the kitchen. The quality of the units, doors and worktop is great. We really recommend DIY Kitchens.'
Danielle from Bedfordshire 'Such an amazing quality kitchen! The doors close and fit perfectly, they don’t feel flimsy and the colour range is fantastic! We ordered our Beech worktop from you as well as we were so impressed with the quality! Delivery was also a dream, the fact everything arrives fully built and sturdy ready for installation? Fantastic!
We’ve actually recently moved home and have done our current utility in another DIY Kitchen and are about to redo our kitchen in the new home, again we will be using DIY Kitchens!
I keep recommending you to our friends and family as the quality is fantastic, the price is so reasonable and the fitting was easy!
We found DIY Kitchens online when looking for our first kitchen and are so pleased we did. We made a saving of around £3,000 purely on the purchase of the kitchen units and worktop – the installation was another £1,000 saving as it meant we could use who we wanted and not the supplier company.'
Christabel from Essex 'I found out about DIY Kitchens on Instagram and you were brilliant. I recommend you to lots of people.'
Lucy from Swansea 'I heard about DIY Kitchens from a word of mouth recommendation. The quality of the doors and appliances are exceptional, our carpenter even commented on the quality. I made a large saving with same kitchen from Wren, better quality and cheaper prices.'
Vicky & Colin from Bedfordshire 'We saved thousands over our quote from Howdens. Quality of the units is excellent, well made and that they were ready assembled was really appreciated. My wife was just chatting to a colleague on a teams meeting who recommended you. The 3D plannning tool really made the difference, it was precise in every detail, though we still popped into the showroom in Pontefract to see things in real life.'
Gareth from Liverpool 'The overall impression of the kitchen is amazing, solid units and easy to install. Very pleased. I found out about DIY kitchens on social media and saved around £4,000, compared to several other kitchen design firms.'
Alan from Durham 'I found about DIY Kitchens from a YouTube comparison video. I saved around 50% on the cost quoted from Wren and the quality to me seems even better than any kitchen I have fitted before and I have done around 6 in my time. I also modified some tall units to mount a washing machine and dryer at a high level.'
Ian from Leeds 'Excellent quality in door thickness and finish with top quality cabinet interiors to all cabinets. I heard about DIY Kitchens from my son who had just bought a kitchen from them and we made a considerable saving over quotes from other manufacturers.'
Roger from Grimsby 'After visiting many other big kitchen companies, we instantly knew that DIY Kitchens units were much superior in quality. This reaffirmed this after we received delivery our units and we fitted them ourselves.
The installation process was made easy, as the units were pre assembled. We loved the quality of the fixtures and fittings that we chose inside the units and also the worktops are just beautiful.
The price we paid represented excellent value for money and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DIY Kitchens in the future.
We heard about DIY Kitchens from YouTubers that highly rated your units, showroom etc compared to all the other major kitchen manufacturers.'
John from Lancashire 'Here are some photos of our kitchen we bought from you. We are very proud of it. Thank you!'
Della & Mark from Leicestershire 'We absolutely love our DIY Kitchen. We looked at all the major retailers, but nothing really grabbed us, they just did not have that WOW, and that's we want moment.
A work colleague recommend you, and we had a look on your website. We liked what we saw and we had a kitchen plan and emailed to you. You duplicated it with your units (fully built rather than flat pack) and it was less than half price!!
We came to your brilliant showroom on a Sunday morning, within about 5 mins, we had our WOW, that’s what we want moment.
Back home, we finalised the plan, with the helpful and ever patient Sophie. We ordered the kitchen and appliances and were so impressed with the price.
Delivery day came, excellent service, polite, helpful and amongst the boxes, Yorkshire tea and biscuits! Our kitchen fitter said it was the best kitchen he had ever fitted. We are now so happy to recommend you to anyone.'
Racheal from Wirral 'We absolutely love our DIY Kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. The quality is fantastic and I loved the freedom the online planner gave to be able to create our dream kitchen myself!
We had no issues with delivery and everything arrived on time with no problems. Communication was great prior to and after ordering, if I had any queries there was always a quick response.
We particularly love the hidden doors to our utility and the breakfast pantry. We also used diy units to create alcove cupboards in our lounge area.'
Ed from Bristol 'Incredible build quality and fantastic service. From the oak doors, to the finish of the paint, you can tell the manufacturing and assembly of these units is 10/10.
The process of ordering was super easy with the design software and regular updates, making everything very clear. If there were ever any questions, problems or even items forgotten (from my part) the team were super helpful in resolving this. Found you guys online when researching high quality kitchens. '
Pete from Fareham 'Very impressed with the quality of the doors and unit. Super impressed with service both at the showroom and by email and phone.
Delivered to our house as promised by two very hard working guys. We originally heard about DIY Kitchens through Which? and glad about the savings we made. '
Chris from Staffs 'I actually bought kitchen units for my dining room. We are delighted with the results; the units are so easy to install and the finish is perfect. They look like they are installed better than I have seen from professional kitchen fitters. All at less than 25% of the price quoted from a bespoke furniture company.'
Gareth & Helen from Surrey 'We shopped around for a while and came across yourselves after a family member used you. We found the quality was excellent and price was amazing, compared to others we had looked at.
I completed the kitchen myself and found it relatively straightforward having the carcasses already built was great. We would thoroughly recommend you to friends and family.'
Rebecca from Yorkshire '"Here is my completed kitchen. It’s a big transformation. Thank you so much."'
Phil & Michelle from Newcastle upon Tyne 'We had been planning to knock through the kitchen and dining room since we moved into our house four years ago, and had been playing with layouts on the DIY Kitchens planner for a number of months before purchasing.
The design we chose maximised the available counter space and created a large peninsular to zone the area. The quality of the carcasses and doors surpasses anything we've previously had from high-street brands, the corner base units offer fantastic storage, and the colour of the doors was exactly what we were looking for.
One favourite feature was the ability to mix and match base units, which we used to create a larder-style butler unit in the utility room to provide lots of extra storage.
We had a tight budget and chose to take on the majority of the work ourselves, right from design to installation. The choice of unit sizes and configurations allowed for maximum customisation to work around existing utilities which helped to keep the costs down. I'm a handy DIY’er, but this is the first kitchen I've fitted myself and it was really straightforward with clear instructions provided.
We believe that we saved in excess of £10,000 by choosing DIY Kitchens vs an all-in kitchen company.
We heard about DIY Kitchens from some online reviews and were sceptical that they would live up to the hype. However, since we installed it, a number of friends have told us that they also have a DIY Kitchen, and they love it!
The kitchen really has changed how we use our home and we're very happy with our decision to choose DIY Kitchens. The customer service throughout the design and ordering process, and the aftercare helping us to address small issues has been second to none. We'd have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone considering a new kitchen.'
David & Jane from Cambridge 'We compared DIY Kitchens against many other kitchens that we have designed and installed for clients. Excellent quality and service. DIY Kitchens were found whilst browsing the internet looking for alternatives to the usual high street retailers.'
Paul & Dawn from West Yorkshire 'We are over the moon with the kitchen, quality and the customer service/after sales was fantastic and beyond expectations. We saved over £7,000 on the Wickes quote we received and we have a friend who used you previously and recommended you.'
Olivia from Surrey 'We are so pleased with our Norton kitchen in Cobham Blue. We can feel the superior quality every time we open a cupboard or drawer and don't feel like we compromised on quality for the (much) cheaper price in comparison to other, more local kitchen suppliers (the next cheapest quote we received for very similar was £5k more expensive).
The colour is beautiful and looks cosy yet fresh with the quartz worktops and brass accessories. The game-changer for us was the walk-in pantry with the DIY Kitchens pantry light set, which is amazing! The units coming pre-assembled also made my husband very happy for the fitting process!
Both my in-laws and parents had fantastic experiences with DIY Kitchens and so it was a no-brainer to use them for our kitchen renovation. The ordering process was straightforward and hassle free and our lives have really been changed with a good quality, robust yet stylish kitchen that brings a little bit of joy, every time we and the kids walk in! '
Graham from London 'Here are some photos of our kitchen renovation which we've just completed. We decided to swap round the layout of our kitchen diner and move the kitchen to the other side of the room to maximise the space. This has involved relocating the boiler, new plumbing and electrics, plastering and new flooring plus fully redecorating.
We're really impressed with DIY Kitchens, we love spending time in the kitchen while cooking, entertaining or just relaxing. The quality of the units and worktops are superb and beat all other manufacturers we looked at. The online planner made the design process uncomplicated and the support from staff during this process really helped too.
This was the first kitchen I've fitted and it was a straightforward DIY project. If I ever have to redo a kitchen again, I would definitely choose yourselves. We first heard about DIY Kitchens through multiple posts on a DIY forum recommending your quality and service. We also got a lot more for the same price, compared to other retailers, which allowed us to upscale and incorporate additional features like a wine fridge and a boiling water tap.'
Jerry & Angie from Wakefield 'Our daughter had used DIY Kitchens some 5 years ago, so we decided to compare prices and the kitchen's quality, with the likes of Howdens, Symphony, Wickes and B&Q. We chose DIY Kitchens as the price could not be matched by the competition and the inclusive showroom at South Kirby is second to none!
We agreed on the Linwood Cornflower Blue 'Shaker' with 'Ice White' quartz worktops... In a word 'fantastic'. We both love it so much and enjoy cooking and now eating lunch on our new island.
The excellent quality of the doors and carcasses made easy fitting and to helped to speed up the installation, which I carried out myself, except for the quartz.
I was able to save time and use the 'DIY online design tool' and then after 3 or 4 showroom visits, we chose the perfect style and colour for our 'forever kitchen'. Thank you DIY!'
Graham and Vivienne from Northumberland 'than others he had fitted, even though it was £5,000 cheaper than another quote we had.
We are particularly impressed with the lovely Dekton "Opera" worktops that look absolutely fabulous and were fitted with great care by a superb team.
All in all it is a complete transformation and now a truly beautiful and practical space. Our dog, Rory, loves it too.'
Natalie from Gloucestershire 'The quality of worktops and cupboards are excellent. Really good quality. Our kitchen fitter couldn’t believe what we spent. He thought we must have spent triple what we actually spent.
We heard about DIY Kitchens through our builder, who had also had one installed so we went to his house to look at it first. '
Zoe from East Yorkshire 'I love my Stanbury DIY Kitchens kitchen, it’s fab! The colour makes me smile everyday. The quality of the doors and units is great and although I was given a little tub of paint to touch up incase of knocks and scrapes to the units, I haven’t needed it.
Whilst I’d not heard of DIY Kitchens until a friend mentioned it, the kitchen was great value and a much better price than lots of other kitchen outlets - almost half the price of one well known kitchen brand!
The team in the showroom were so helpful and the online planner was very user friendly, it made visualising what the kitchen would look like much easier. Although I had a couple of problems when the units arrived, the Customer Service team sorted them quickly and efficiently.
Whilst my kitchen is only small, the transformation is huge! I would definitely have an another DIY Kitchens kitchen! '
Mike & Ben from London 'We changed our layout to pull forward the work area from under the low ceiling section - this improved counter space and with new counter lighting, it was much improved.
We used the same countertop for the practical breakfast bar. Overall, very pleased with look and quality of pre assembled cabinets. They were easy to install and to chose a custom colour for the old Victorian flat.
I've used DIY Kitchens 3 times for different flats refurbs. Ease of use website to build basket, great quality cabinets and transparent and good value pricing, I don’t look elsewhere now as at the start with earlier refurbs, the competitor quotes were more expensive.
Initially I found your website by searching online and liked the modern setup and navigation of website. I used you in 2015, 2020 and 2023 for different properties. '
Carla from Essex 'Great quality and very happy. My partner fits kitchens and this matches other high quality kitchens at a good price. '
Jane from Cowbridge 'My kitchen project started as part of a full house renovation, so it was quite difficult to picture. I loved the design software because it brought my ideas to life, all I had at the start was an old conservatory to knock down, new foundations to go in and a whole new extension to build. I didn’t just look at the software to change and amend my design, I kept looking at it to give me hope that one day we would be finished and I would have this fabulous kitchen.
We chose DIY Kitchens for a few reasons, as everyone we were on a budget, but the cost wasn’t as important as quality and value for money. We sent off for a number of sample doors and we were so impressed that we could actually afford the painted doors rather than the vinyl wrapped and still save £1,000s on any high street or trade type outlets. The same kitchen with wrapped doors and including appliances were coming out at between £22-£36,000. With DIY Kitchens I had better quality doors and white goods for £15,500 and also a massively speedier delivery window of just 3 weeks. Win, win, win.
My stress levels reached ‘high’ on occasion when I couldn’t get the software to work but the customer support team were absolutely fantastic.
Once I’d pressed the order button I confess I was more than a little anxious, but arrival date came, the delivery boys were superb and placed the multitude of boxes in the room they were being fitted and my carpenter arrived to complete the fitting a few days later. We added an oak breakfast bar using some spare oak from the project, a bit of retro 70s paper and the whole thing looks absolutely amazing.
We had the arrival of a puppy just 2 weeks after the kitchen was fitted, my husband was besides himself in case the dog chewed it but I can happily report both the dog and the kitchen are still intact. When he was a puppy he enjoyed climbing in the dishwasher but he’s now 10 months and 40lbs and still growing so we don’t let him do that anymore!
I can’t be more grateful that this company exists! Thank you and all your staff x'
Paul from Wiltshire 'Overall impressions of the kitchen are very good, all Blum soft close runners and hinges make the doors and drawers super smooth. The doors are solid wood and they have the lovely grain effect showing through the paint. We fitted the kitchen 8 months ago and are very happy with it.
The kitchen was a £1,000 cheaper than a Wren kitchen but came with the added bonus of being able to choose the colours we wanted and having solid wood doors rather than textured MDF.'
Cailean from Nottingham 'I purchased a Linwood carbon kitchen and changed the design slightly whilst it was being installed. I was fully accommodated. The customer care was extremely good and the people on the end of the phone was very knowledgeable, which gave me confidence that I had made the right choice going with DIY Kitchens.
We made huge savings, somewhere in the region of 20/30% but not only that, we also upgraded from mdf foil wrapped doors to solid wood and painted doors, so da ouble bonus and still saved a fortune from what we was originally quoted by 2 other well know manufacturers.
We could not be happier with the quality and overall finish of the kitchen. It's very robust well built and a high standard of finish. We have had it now for 6 months in a very busy house with children and grand children and it's still like brand new. Highly recommend a diy kitchen.
To sum up, great quality, great price, great product and great customer service. You will not be disappointed.'
Antoinette from Berkshire 'I heard about DIY Kitchens through my mother-inlaw. I was very impressed with the quality of the sample doors she had, so I ordered some for myself of designs I liked. The prices of the various kitchen ranges were very favourable compared to the other large kitchen providers in the market. The website design tool is also very user friendly and allows you to have full control of your design.
I love my new kitchen and I chose Norton Sage. The unit quality is excellent and the tone of the sage colour is very pleasing to the eye. I also selected the workshop, sink and matching tap from DIY Kitchens. I also made an overall £5k saving compared to other kitchen quotes.'
Claire from Surrey 'Our neighbours recommended DIY Kitchens having used them earlier in the year and we had amazing savings over other kitchen companies. We had the freedom to design the kitchen we wanted from my own home and our kitchen is now the heart of the home and gets so many compliments.'
Stuart from Northumberland 'We were delighted with the quality and style of the kitchen. The doors and colour were exactly what we were looking for. The Joiner was particularly impressed with the quality of fitting. It was the 1st he used and was very impressed.
We appreciated the convenience of everything being pre-fitted, including the doors. The pre-fitted legs of the carcass, with their simple click-in mechanism, made leveling up a breeze.
On a like for like quote from WREN and Howdens, I saved almost £1800, the kitchen planner I contacted also enhanced my design by suggesting improvements to the current design, which made the kitchen look a lot more symmetrical, which I was delighted with.'
Victoria from London 'Here are some photographs of my finished kitchen. I know I thoroughly researched DIY Kitchens before I ordered mine and I found looking at the images on people's Instagram invaluable.'
Annie from East London 'I love the quality of the cabinets, the finish looks excellent and looks much more expensive than it is! I also love that we could choose a bespoke colour.
DIY Kitchens was recommended to me by my brother who bought a kitchen from you too and I made a huge saving compared to what I would have paid for a similar kitchen from Magnet.'
Sandra from Hartlepool 'I went for the Malton range in carbon the appliances supplied by yourselves too.'
Clare from Cambridge 'This is my dream kitchen, and I love it! I have really been impressed with the excellent quality of the units and components compared to other leading showroom brands. Our carpenter loved installing them, not least because they all arrived ready assembled!
I have been able to overcome the challenges posed by the unusual shape of my kitchen with curved units, which really soften the edges, particularly on the peninsular island, and was a feature only one other kitchen brand offered. these, the glass fronted wall unit, and the pull out under cupboard bins (32L each!) are probably my three favourite features.
Our visitors often compliment us for the stylish look of the kitchen (for which I have to credit my teenage son who clearly has a great eye for design!); the white doors and reflective chrome handles extend the light from the area closest to the bifold doors and windows into the darker galley area at the back.
I had designs and quotes from all the usual competitors (Howdens. Magnet, Homebase, Wren) and they were all over budget. Only Wren offered the curved units I sought, and I found DIY Kitchens by researching other possible providers. I couldn't believe I could get all the design components I liked from one place!
I also mas a massive saving! Even without the offer of interest free credit that I’d had from other providers, I was able to afford all the design features that I’d set my heart on, including the deep pan drawers and pull out larders, with DIY Kitchens. I could even have the soft-close hinges! '
Angela from Devon 'I'm really pleased with the quality of the units, doors and surfaces and the kitchen fitter wasalso very impressed with the quality. Where assembly was needed it was very easy and everything is still looking and feeling great a year on.
I also found the customer service excellent – messages were answered quickly and call-backs actually happened, which seems rare these days and the staff I spoke to were very helpful.'
Anne from Leicestershire 'Excellent quality, love that we can repaint them in the future. The planning tool was so easy to use and it was great to keep going back and making slight adjustments to get it just right.
We were really impressed with the showroom and went back twice to ensure we were happy with our decision. Customer service was professional and friendly with any queries we had. I have since recommended DIY Kitchens to all of my friends.'
Geoff from Long Eaton 'We love the kitchen and very happy with the quality of all the products delivered. We did change our mind on the style and colour having visited the showroom a couple of times. The staff were very helpful which made our choice of finish and style so much easier. We found the customer service to be of a very high standard before, during and afterwards. Our overall impression of DIY Kitchens was far superior to other manufacturers / suppliers and the cost was competitive.
A friend and neighbour recommended DIY and we saved over £1,500 compared to the next nearest quote from Howdens for something similar in looks.
I’ve written a poem which I hope is something a little different from your usual responses.
I bought a DIY Kitchen recommended by a friend
I was very pleased from the beginning to the very end
It came all packaged nicely by two friendly men
They put it in the garage and unloaded it by 10am.
We had a fitter organised, or so we thought,
but he cancelled last minute and left us in the lurch
I found an electrician who said he’d help me out
So I built the kitchen myself without a shadow of a doubt.
We had a couple of issues, and they were resolved without a quip
The customer service was tremendous and acted very quick
So I’d like to say a big thank you once again
For a job well done and I’ll come again.'
Steve from Derby 'For the price point, the quality of the doors and panels is excellent; thick and sturdy. The units are solid and well-made and the paint quality is fantastic. Having the units pre-built is an amazing feature and well recommended, saved a lot of time. Very happy with the results.
I heard about DIY Kitchens independently from a family member and a work friend, both of whom thoroughly recommended the quality and price. The most competitive alternative quote came from Wren who were quoting several thousand pounds more than DIY Kitchens for their equivalent spec.'
Geoff from Derbyshire 'Our daughter and son-in-law fitted a DIY Kitchen a few years ago and we were very impressed with the quality and finish of the kitchen.
Although we looked at a company, which has a showroom local to us, their choice of colour in particular, was limited and we were only able to get a price from them if we did it through a kitchen fitter. We really liked the price, style and colour of the DIY Kitchen we chose. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would recommend your company to anyone who is looking to change their kitchen in the future.
We found everyone we spoke to, or dealt with, at DIY Kitchens extremely helpful and we valued their expert help when we needed it. Thank you DIY Kitchens.'
Sian from Gateshead 'The kitchen is brilliant for the price we paid; I love the colour of the dark blue but also the colour of the internal wood. It was also great that there were options to order additional items if needed. I mostly liked that I could design the kitchen myself over time, I wasn't sure of the layout I wanted at first and we moved the original location of the kitchen into the dining area. The self design tool was excellent and was a great help for working this all out.
I found DIY kitchens through an Instagram page. We didn't actually price any other kitchens, as I was very happy with the cost and the DIY aspect was just what we wanted.'
Emma & Mark from Buckinghamshire 'We were recommended DIY Kitchens from a local fitter who rated them above the competition. We visited the showroom and were wowed with the quality and choice including worktops.
We’d visited a couple of Well-known kitchen companies who’d quoted us over double what we ended up paying at DIY kitchens. The staff were all very helpful and talked us through anything we needed advice with. Delivery was great. We love our kitchen and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DIY Kitchens.'
Kevin from York 'Great kitchen, solid and well built units, the doors and worktops exuded quality. The service from DIY Kitchens was excellent, the delivery arrived as stated and everything arrived as ordered. I heard about DIY Kitchens from an internet search, I found the kitchen design tool invaluable also.'
Faye & Steve from Lincolnshire 'We have recently fitted our new DIY kitchen, and am so pleased with it! Our experience with DIY Kitchens was nothing short of perfection. From designing to installing to the customer service team were brilliant. The quality of the units are incredible for the price we paid. We saved well over £10k. Howdens' quote was £28,800. We paid in total with appliances and worktops £13,000!! Thank you DIY Kitchens.'
Chris from Bristol 'The kitchen is Norton in Dove Grey and the overall impression is that quality is very good (especially value for the quality), sturdy, and was complimented by the fitter.
I heard about DIY Kitchens via online searches plus a Facebook group. I had a similar quote from an independent designer, but the number of units was lower than from DIY Kitchens.'
Megs & Dan from Liverpool 'Absolutely thrilled, quality cannot be faulted, installed easily by the builders, finish is perfect, easy to clean and gives a really high end finish.
There was so much choice for interiors, so we opted for one of the more budget door styles but it had to be shaker for us, with other companies this limited our interior choices but with you, we could get the different drawer pull out options, large integrated bin, double belfast sink and all the things we really wanted!
We heard about you from our house IG, lots of people recommended you. After we got a quote from a high street retailer, we saved over half! and we saved around 1/3 from another popular online only kitchen retailer.'
Darren from London 'We are so happy with the kitchen and the quality has surpassed our expectations. The online design tool makes it so easy to create our dream kitchen. We heard good things online and our neighbour also recommended you.
We initially put a deposit down with Wren but when we saw what we could get with DIY for a cheaper price, we made the decision to cancel the order and never looked back.
The interior and exterior finish provides a luxurious feel when we are cooking. '
Marri from South Ayrshire 'Our trip to the showroom was an amazing experience. I already knew the one I wanted but seeing it in the showroom was incredible. Johnny designed my kitchen, and he created a space for my young daughter to sit at, she loves it.
I am delighted with the product, the green is absolutely stunning. I chose gold hardware and a solid bamboo worktop. I used excess worktop to create a cover for my hob which gives me more space.
Thank you again, I am delighted with my kitchen and cannot recommend DIY Kitchens enough.
'
Johnny from Fife 'I heard about DIY Kitchens through a colleague in the joinery trade. We both visited your incredible showroom in May last year, which was a fantastic experience. We looked no further for our kitchens, and it was amazing for my sister and I to be picking kitchens for our respective flats at the same time.
As you will see, the Cashmere units look exquisite set against the backdrop of the heritage green tiles. When I renovated the flat, I created an open plan kitchen and living space, and made a slim island style dining table with the excess from his sold hardwood worktop. The bronze tap and handles alongside the retro-cool belfast sink are the final chef’s kiss to your first class kitchen.
I am delighted with the product, the price point and the customer service. I am in the building trade and have recommended DIY Kitchens to several friends and customers.
My sister and I both love each other’s kitchens, they are happy spaces for us to be in. '
Anastasia from London 'The kitchen we purchased is excellent quality. The finish of the paint is beautiful, and the fixtures and fittings are of the highest quality. The cabinets came pre-assembled which saved us a huge amount of effort during installation.
We did have quotes from other leading suppliers and this was by far the cheapest by at least 50%.'
Spencer from East Sussex 'Here are some photos of my competed Norton kitchen in Cobham Blue.'
Wendy & Iain from North Berwick 'We just love our DIY Kitchen. The quality is better than we had expected and it was fabulous that we were able to get the quartz worktops in our budget too.
We were recommended DIY Kitchens by our builder but have since had so many people recommend DIY Kitchens, we do too!
After visiting DIY Kitchens showroom, we didn’t even end up getting quotes from any other supplier, we were impressed with the quality, price and customer service straight away.'
Stuart & Gemma from Durham 'We're absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen! We discovered DIY Kitchens on an internet forum and visited their showroom, which gave us bags of inspiration. The quality of the doors and cabinets are far superior to the other manufacturers we considered - despite the competition being more expensive. This saving allowed us to upgrade our drawers and units with high glass sides and soft close hinges - and still come in cheaper than other suppliers!
We have a fairly small kitchen but the vast range of cabinets, neat storage and option to customise units make it look far, far bigger. We didn’t have to compromise and managed to fit in a freestanding fridge freezer, washer / dryer, dishwasher, double oven, single oven, intregrated microwave, wine cooler, new boiler and a 90cm hob with extractor - and there is still more than enough storage space for food, pots, pans, glassware and crockery thanks to the pull-out corner units and full height pull-out larders. Not bad for a room measuring 3.5 x 3.8 metres!'
Sara from London 'Please find my information below and photos attached for the real customer kitchen. Please do let me know if you need any other info!
I'm really impressed with the quality of the kitchen. It looks so modern and smart. The doors and units are of solid quality and I loved being able to design my own kitchen with the units that best served my needs. It was also great to be able to buy my appliances together with the units and doors.
The customer service was also brilliant - there was no question too small. I was recommend to you through a friend who had a great experience of DIY Kitchens and I made a saving for comparable quality, especially with the appliances.'
Nicola from Coventry 'Having bought a forever family home that needed a full renovation, we were keen to install a high quality kitchen that we would love, but our funds were also tight.
I heard about DIY Kitchens from some home accounts I follow on Instagram, and thought their rooms looked stunning. I loved how accessible the website is for viewing the different kitchen and unit types, and they have a clear pricing structure. The planner tool was also so useful to help us visualise how the kitchen could look once our extension was built and internal walls knocked down.
We were very pleased with the quality of the kitchen, and would highly recommend to others.'
Helen from Berkshire 'I happened to stumble across the DIY Kitchens Design & Planning Forum on Facebook, which I joined and which helped with our decision to go with DIY Kitchens. We originally had quotes from Magnet and Wren, the cheapest of which was still £5,000 more than our DIY Kitchens price.
I really enjoyed the planning stages, which meant that over the course of our kitchen extension build, I could keeping going back to my plan and make as many changes as I wanted. We had decided on the Stanbury range from the outset, but found it difficult to decide on a colour as we loved them all - especially after visiting the showroom a few times!
We had a few questions which were answered promptly via email and when we finally decided on the colour (Mussel) it was extremely easy to go through the final checks and then submit our order. The delivery guys were fantastic and, despite being the last drop of the evening (9.45pm) they were friendly and jolly.
Myself and my husband fitted the kitchen ourselves and we both found the carcasses and the doors extremely good quality. We had a few issues with scratches/marks on some items, which wouldn't clean off, but Customer Services were great and replacements were received within 7 days.
Our overall impression of DIY Kitchens is extremely positive. Our real life kitchen looks exactly like the impression given on the 3D planner and to say we love our new kitchen is an understatement and it is definitely now the heart of our home. We have happily recommended DIY Kitchens on to a few friends, who are looking at getting new kitchens in the near future.'
Peter from York 'I did some extensive research on quality and price on a number of kitchen outlets and was given DIY Kitchens' details from a friend of mine.
I was amazed at the quality as I consider it far better than the competitors I was looking at and when I got the quote, I questioned myself if I had made a mistake as it was at least 20% cheaper than I had been getting.
The experience of getting to grips with the design took a couple of attempts but was easy to change and then when submitted, there were a couple of checks questions, which was reassuring.
The ease of the computer design and quantity check on plinths etc made thing especially easier and I couldn’t fault the service received from start the finish including delivery. Could not recommend highly enough. '
Jacqui from Dumbarton 'We are both very happy with the quality of the kitchen. We did extensive research before purchasing and looked at high end kitchens and this kitchen compared very well.
We were recommended to DIY Kitchens by our project manager, building our house. We made a fantastic saving compared to other prices. '
Rob & Sian from N. Wales 'Having had the kitchen approaching 2 years now, we love it. We continue to be pleased with the quality of the units and how they look, and we’re glad we took our time to research and plan the arrangement thoroughly - it works well in day to day use.
We think, overall, we saved around £3,000 on what we would have paid for a superstore type kitchen. possibly more!
We heard of DIY Kitchens from doing a lot of online research, then had a family trip up to Pontefract to view the showroom, getting a night away in Chester in the process on the way over.
One final thought, the complementary tea and flapjacks were a great touch - nicest flapjack i've ever tasted! No jokes!'
Diane from Warrington 'The kitchen is in Malton Cashmere & white. We are delighted with the price and quality of the units. DIY Kitchens were recommended to us by friends and our dog Jasper loves the kitchen too! '
Sue from Bristol 'We absolutely love our new kitchen. It's been a real transformation from an old dark room to a beautiful spacious, light kitchen. The colour (Malton Cornflower Blue) is amazing and with the Quartz worktops just finishes it all off with a sparkle.
The quality and finish on the doors make it easy to keep the kitchen clean and fresh looking and the soft closing add that little bit of luxury.
We heard about DIY kitchens from family, as they recently had one fitted and when I saw how beautiful their kitchen was, I knew it was where we were going to be buying ours.
It's been a long term plan to change our kitchen, as we have an old cottage so we had many quotes but DIY Kitchens came out the lowest and we managed to save £8,000. '
Phil from Preston 'The quality of the kitchen is excellent and the units being prebuilt, made for a great installation. It was my first kitchen build in more than 30 years and we did a lot of research before we embarked on the process. On your website and via YouTube, It was good to listen to previous customers experiences and see the results. The fact that we could visit your showroom was another major advantage and well worth the effort of the day out to see the various layouts and feel the quality of the materials.
We hadn’t heard of DIY Kitchens until I read a Which> review on new kitchens. Although they didn’t come out as the best overall, they did come out with the best customer reviews and that was a big influence in our decision. It made us research more on YouTube and another big plus point was the review by the Gosforth Handyman.
To have the ability to order sample materials helped us finally select the finish and style we required. Another big plus was the ability to use the online planning tool and 3D views of the created plan. We spent quite some time virtually creating our kitchen and it really paid off in the long run. Better than other suppliers' professional planners.
We did have some issues with the delivered kitchen components. But the process of resolving the issues was quick and professional.
Value for money was excellent and I believe we saved a lot of money and received a better quality kitchen at the end of the project. The builder we used to create our new kitchen dining extension had never heard of DIY Kitchens when he started the build, but by the time he completed he was telling me how many new clients were having your kitchens. We have also been telling many of our friends about our experiences. '
Gillian from Merseyside 'To say we are pleased with the quality is an understatement. We had previously had a quote from Howdens, which was more than double the DIY price.
My son had used your company previously, so suggested we paid a visit to your showroom. Great set up. Very impressive & well worth the journey. Kids loved it too. Staff greeted us on arrival but all they asked was our postcode to see where we had travelled from.
Obviously we went ahead with an order & with the amount of money we were saving, we felt we could justify spending extra on corner cupboards which, we think, finishes the look of the kitchen off nicely.
The one mistake we made was not ordering the handles & drawer inserts with the kitchen. As the cupboards are thicker than standard, the screws to fit the handles were not long enough from B & Q. We did a separate order for inserts. Made all the difference being the exact fit.
The joiners who fitted our kitchen were very impressed with the quality & have since recommended you to other clients. Thank you so much DIY KITCHENS.'
Julie from Bristol 'My overall impression was good quality doors, carcasses and accessories. Lots of choices in design, colours and finishes. The design process was very easy to use and navigate.
I heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend, who had recently bought a kitchen from DIY Kitchens. I saved over £8,000 on other quotes for a similar kitchen of the same quality.'
Olivia from London 'We are so pleased with our kitchen. The quality is exceptional and rivals the high end brands we looked at. The online designer was easy to use and I really enjoyed the process! Our installers commented on how well made the carcasses are and found installation straightforward.
We heard about DIY Kitchens online, and we believe we made a huge cost saving.'
Barnaby & Margaret from Leeds 'I love that they came solidly built with all internals in place and ready to install! The quality was much better than B&Q and IKEA kitchens I’ve had installed, which while pretty, often have thin, flimsy carcasses and being built from flatpack by a non professional (me!) generally don’t stand the test of time! DIY Kitchens' cabinets and base units only needed to be put in place & levelled and we were almost done!
DIY Kitchens are my kitchen fitter’s favourite kitchen to fit, as there’s almost no unit building required, and the process is smooth and quick!
I compared the price to B&Q and prices were similar, but the fact that DIY came assembled made ALL the difference in cost to have fitted as well as sturdiness!'
Emma & Andy from West Yorkshire 'We heard about you from one of my colleagues, who said they used you for their kitchen and were very impressed with you and the quality of the kitchen considering how reasonable the price was. This is the first kitchen we have ever bought – having previously lived in new build properties. We are over the moon with it, it looks exactly as we hoped it would, if not better!
Everyone that visits the house is stunned by how lovely it is. We did visit Wren for a quotation prior to looking at DIY, their quotation was around five thousand pounds more expensive than the kitchen we purchased, and they didn’t have the exact colour/style we were looking for. If we had gone with Wren we would have effectively paid more for a kitchen we didn’t really like!
The staff in your showroom were so helpful, we spent quite a lot of time walking around to find the perfect kitchen for us. The complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits certainly helped to fuel the search.
We settled eventually on the Linton in the colour Carbon and I think from the photos attached you can see we made the right decision.
I only wish we had enough money in the budget to have quartz worktops to match the island but the Senoma Oak worktops compliment it nicely for now.
We’re now on the look out for dining furniture and in the summer, we will be working on the garden so that when we’re in the kitchen we don’t have to look at the chaos building the extension caused.'
Kathryn from Derbyshire 'My kitchen is stunning. Same quality and finish as the expensive kitchens but literally half the price. It’s literally my dream. I heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend and I think the cost was half the price as the high street competitors. '
Jacqueline from Halifax 'Our last kitchen came with the house when we bought it, but it was badly designed, poor quality with not enough storage, so we spent as little time in the kitchen as possible.
Since having our new DIY kitchen, we spend all our time in it because we love it so much, baking and cooking is a real pleasure now and we have room to store everything in.
When we initially started looking for a kitchen, we didn't think we would be capable of planning our own so we went to a another kitchen manufacturer who planned it for you. However, after sending measurements of our Victorian kitchen, which has wonky walls with non standard measurements, we never heard from them again.
We visited other kitchen manufacturers who plan the kitchen for you but the kitchens were either really poor quality, you could only see a small fraction of the units or they were beyond our budget for the quality we wanted. After a web search we found DIY Kitchens and realised the showroom wasn't far away, which was great because we wanted to physically see a kitchen before buying it.
The showroom was amazing: firstly because it was dog friendly, secondly the staff on the reception desk and around the showroom were so friendly and helpful, thirdly there were full kitchens that you could look around with examples of every unit, door, worktop and handles. The fact that you could sit with a laptop and plan your kitchen, popping to check units as you did or ask staff for information convinced us that we would be able to do it ourselves.
It was great not to be pressured and to be able to spend a few weeks thinking about the kitchen plan and then go back online to make adjustments. The tools on the website made planning the kitchen ourselves so easy and enabled us to accurately keep to our budget.
We are delighted with our completed kitchen, we were able to get an even better quality kitchen than we thought we could ever afford. The quality of both the kitchen units and the oak worktops is far beyond any we saw elsewhere. Our favourite unit is the modern pantry which very few other kitchen manufacturers offered. It stores a huge amount so now we don't need extra storage around the house for food and kitchen gadgets, everyone who visits us is very envious of our pantry.
Putting a new kitchen in an old house with wonky walls is more challenging but what really helped at DIY Kitchens was the range of end panels, feature end panels and filler panels that are available. Our joiner even used 2 filler panels to make doors for the 100mm open base units either side of the cooker for storing baking trays. We absolutely love our new kitchen from DIY Kitchens. '
Andrew & Roz from Cambridgeshire 'I thought you may like to see some photos of our recently purchased kitchen. It was for our 94 year old mother who's thrilled with it.
The shallow cupboard next to the oven we reduced in depth to stand in front of some boxing in of a soil pipe.'
Neil and Sarah from Suffolk 'Our tall cupboards make an amazing larder space, making use of our alcoves and our we love our little alcove unit too - perfect to showcase my grandma’s thimbles.
We were able to build our kitchen around the ceiling beam with the help of our super carpenters and the end bookcase in cashmere is always so positively commented upon. We really do have a ‘wow’ kitchen.
We saved between £6,000-£8,000 from other suppliers and our kitchen fitters said it was higher quality than many kitchens they have fitted.'
Huw from Henley 'We love the quality of the DIY Kitchen painted units (Clayton Alabaster) and the fittings provided. The kitchen worktops are Duropal Natural Oak Block with the square edge profile, which we love and are very practical for our busy kitchen.
Some of the units supplied we asked to be dry jointed, so they could be customised and assembled in situ, to avoid the gap from the unit top to the ceiling.
We found DIY Kitchens through a Google search, we then followed this up with some research and a trip to the showroom. The planning program on the PC was easy to use and very useful and enabled me to try out various options (particularly) the corner units. The final kitchen is actually a close match to the 3D view in the planning program!
We had quotes from Wren and John Lewis and DIY Kitchens were significantly less (40% to 60%).'
Nicola from Lanarkshire 'Here are some images of my new DIY Kitchen. I absolutely love everything about it and can't thank you guys enough for your excellent customer service.'
Andy & Shelley from Essex 'We love the kitchen and the quality is outstanding. So glad we decided to choose the quartz worktop, it compliments the kitchen perfectly.
We had a quote from Howdens, and the quote from DIY Kitchens was half the price and substantially better quality. We were recommended by a friend about DIY Kitchens and so glad we used DIY Kitchens!'
Abbie from Peterborough 'Love our new kitchen. It looks amazing, so much choice with colours and styles but we definitely picked a good one. Great quality too. Will recommend any day. Savings wise, i made over £8,000 in savings, compared to Wren.'
Ashely from Lancashire 'The kitchen is truly beautiful and the bespoke colour was just what I wanted. The biggest accolade was from our fitter, who said that they were excellent quality and easy to install as they are pre built.
I first heard about DIY Kitchens from a colleague at work and in regards to savings, the closest quote for equivalent kitchen would have cost us £5,000 more!'
David & Matt from Doncaster 'We love our new kitchen and the quality, look and functionality of it all. We looked at a huge number of kitchen suppliers and DIY by far felt the best and also at the most competitive price. We have no regrets about our choice of kitchen supplier.
We found you via a Google search and we made around a £4,000 saving on the cabinets alone, which allowed us to have a quartz worktop, boiling tap and integrated appliances!'
Davina from Colchester 'So pleased with the robustness, quality, finish and style. It looks, feels and performs as a premium kitchen and is beyond what you find in large-scale mainstream showrooms, and much better value. My local kitchen fitter was also suitably impressed and has since recommended to others.
Intensive Google research into finding the best value, quality kitchen supplier led me to DIY Kitchens. Also, I could personally plan and control the design process with 3D views. to bring it to life.
I also saved thousands. Being able to browse, choose and change designs, cupboards, finishes and functional inserts myself using DIY Kitchen's planner, it was easy to order my perfect kitchen - and as a huge bonus, it cost around 50% less than quotes I received from local firms and big showroom kitchen brands.'
Rosie & Simon from Hampshire 'This is our second DIY Kitchen - the first was in 2015. When we moved, we had no doubt we would choose another DIY Kitchen. We did view some other kitchen suppliers but none of them supplied the quality or flexibility for the cost. By far DIY Kitchens was the best value for money.
We are so pleased to share the pictures of our lovely Kitchen (and Utility Room). A major renovation to this house (which we bought a year ago) was to change the garage to into this beautiful Kitchen with vaulted ceiling and separate larder and utility.
Having previously bought from DIY Kitchens, I had my design firmly in mind and the design tool was invaluable - a kitchen without wall units, I feel it looks elegant and extra special. Lighting is important to us - can you see the light behind the shelf on the back wall - in the evening this gives a lovely soft glow to the room.
Every detail of our kitchen was considered, even the tunnel for our cat (Birdie) to come and go to her food and the cat flap in the Utility, without the need to keep the utility door open. The stone worktop, I saw in the showroom and immediately knew I wanted it for my kitchen.
The choice of the wide full stave oak worktop at for the island is a great contrast (sourced elsewhere). Having my hob and wok burner on the island ensures that when we have guests I am facing them and can enjoy their company while cooking. The double ovens in the island keep the ovens out of sight to guests. It's a perfect layout for us. Would we have done anything different? No. Would we buy a DIY Kitchen again? Yes.'
Stephen from Stoke on Trent 'Fantastic kitchen and build quality. I found your website by watching kitchen fitters on YouTube. I saved over 10k compared to Wren, Wickes and B&Q. I'm was also very happy with customer service.'
Helly from Warwickshire 'We are very impressed with our kitchen, from the customer service, the finish, and overall look. The online design service is great and allowed us to fully reconfigure the kitchen and make it suit our needs. The doors, carcasses and hinges are such great quality. The fact they are delivered fully assembled is great! Saved us so much time.
We chose painted doors and they came with a small paint pot to do any touch ups, which we haven't needed but has really eased my mind. But so far I'm very impressed as we've had no scratches or dents. We've now recommended it to 4 of our friends as we were so pleased with the whole process.
We were told about DIY kitchens by our friends who had recently redone their kitchen with them. We made a huge saving, as we were quoted over £10,000 and only spent £5,000 on our beautiful kitchen. We couldn't be more pleased and will definitely use them again in the future. '
Kerry from Stockton on Tees 'We knew what we wanted, and the 'big' firms could only offer comments such as, "You can't do that," or "that won't work." With DIY Kitchens, we designed the kitchen exactly how we wanted it, with no barriers to our imagination.
I heard about DIY Kitchens from a Disney holiday planning forum, we browsed the site, then visited the showroom. We were impressed, and saved over £5,000 using the cheapest quote from others - even after upgrading the worktop, adding a dishwasher and splashing out on an extractor induction hob. The quality is high class and we are delighted with our kitchen.'
Byron from Kent 'My overall impression of the quality was very good. Better quality than Howdens or Magnet, and much lower price then either as well.
We heard about DIY Kitchens from our building contractor, who had recently installed a DIY Kitchen for another client.'
Joe from Nottingham 'Having recently completed the installation of our kitchen from DIY Kitchens, we are thrilled to share our experience. Our journey with DIY Kitchens began through recommendations on Reddit, where users spoke highly of the quality and value provided. While exploring options, we also approached Howdens, but their pricing exceeded our budget constraints, steering us back to DIY Kitchens.
Upon utilizing DIY Kitchens' design tool, we were astounded to find that we could save between £5-6k compared to other quotes we received. This significant cost difference, coupled with the flexibility to choose appliances and worktops separately, made DIY Kitchens the clear choice for us.
Undertaking the kitchen installation ourselves was a daunting task, but the pre-assembled units streamlined the process, enabling us to complete the project within a week. The quality of the units surpassed our expectations, with sturdy construction and precise adjustments ensuring a flawless finish. The soft-close sliders are a particularly appreciated feature, adding a touch of luxury to our kitchen space.
Throughout our experience, the customer service provided by DIY Kitchens was exceptional. From the courteous delivery drivers to the attentive aftercare team, every interaction was met with professionalism and support.
We wholeheartedly recommend DIY Kitchens to anyone seeking a high-quality kitchen at an affordable price. Should the need arise in the future, DIY Kitchens will undoubtedly be our first choice. Thank you for helping us achieve the kitchen of our dreams.'
Alison from Selby 'I absolutely adore my new kitchen and utility, the quality of both the doors and units is absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend them and will certainly use them again without hesitation. I heard about DIY Kitchens via Instagram and saved thousands compared to the quotes we had elsewhere.'
Clare from Peterborough 'My overall impression of the kitchen is that it is of excellent quality. The units are strong and it’s great to have a choice of internal colours. The doors are well made as well and the finish is spot on. Everything was packaged with care (worktops purchased separately). I made a saving of at least £5000.'
Vladimir from Leicestershire 'Here are some pictures of my kitchen, before and after. I heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend and then visited the showroom, which we were very impressed with. Loads to see, friendly staff and no pushy sales. Overall quality of the kitchen is great, no issues or anything to complain about and the whole process was easy and communications were great. '
Donna & Kyle from Hertfordshire 'Initially recommended to us by our builder, John Wain, who has installed numerous DIY Kitchens, we were impressed from the start. The value for money was superb, especially considering the high quality of the product. The variety of ranges and colors offered appealed to our tastes, and the prices were significantly lower compared to other quotes we received from big brands.
Despite a slight wait time for the kitchen to be built, the fact that it was made to order reassured us that we were not just getting a generic, mass-produced kitchen that had been sitting in a warehouse for ages.
I must commend the excellent customer service we received throughout the process. Although I encountered some difficulties with the design phase measurements, the customer service team promptly assisted me, addressing any errors and answering all my questions regarding heights, gaps, and more.
The delivery process was incredibly smooth, with helpful delivery drivers who assisted us with moving the kitchen units. The pre-built units made installation a breeze, and even though we sought guidance from our builder, we feel confident that we could handle much of the installation ourselves in the future, thanks to the clear instructions provided.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the kitchen, considering its affordability. Overall, I am delighted with our decision to choose DIY Kitchens and have been recommending them to everyone considering a kitchen purchase.
Furthermore, the ease of adding additional units and accessories to our order after purchase was impressive. The CARE package sent with the kitchen, complete with treats and extra paint for touch-ups, was a thoughtful gesture that further enhanced our experience.
Thank you once again for providing such a wonderful product and exceptional service. We look forward to enjoying our new kitchen for years to come.'
Jamie from Melton Mowbray 'We're really pleased with the quality and how it turned out first kitchen I've fitted. The worktops are a great addition also such a clean installation and finish. We heard about DIY kitchens from a friend.'
Esther from Kent 'Here two places that i've used your units. The Sage Green is my mum's utility and an Olive Green is my airbnb.
We made significant savings compared to the the high street. With the sage green utility room, we saved £2k like for like, and the olive kitchen, we saved £2500.
Features of each room:
Olive Kitchen
- Integrate appliances including washer dryer, dishwasher and fridge
- Quartz worktop
- Shelves on top instead of cabinets to lighted up the room and make it feel a bit larger.
Sage Utility
- Stacked washer and dryer
- Integrated freezer
- Larder, pull out and even an integrated ironing board!'
Tom & Kathleen from Ramsbottom 'Here are some photos of our completed DIY Kitchens kitchen. We were very pleased with the quality of all the cabinets, although we did source our quartz worktops elsewhere. We heard about you through Which? magazine and researched you online, before visiting your excellent showroom. We did make a considerable saving over other kitchen companies, even taking into account the extra fitting costs.'
Kathryn from Derby 'ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, very happy with quality and value delivered perfectly totally impressed. I made a saving of about £5000! '
Mahima from Southampton 'Our new DIY Kitchen has turned out so beautiful and is the best part of our home extension. I have thoroughly enjoyed having the freedom to design my kitchen with the online design portal. It was easy to work with and we were glad we made a trip to Doncaster to visit the showroom before making the final decision on the kitchen colour and cabinets.
We did compare the prices and this one turned out to be such a bargain in cost and better quality. The customer service was excellent and always so helpful in making the right choices. There was one unit which arrived damaged on delivery, which was replaced in less than a week. We are so pleased with it and it's our favourite hangout at the moment.'
Pete & Nelly from London 'We bought our kitchen from DIY Kitchens last year, and with no prior experience to our names, attempted the fun and sometimes fraught, project of installing it ourselves. And we’re delighted with the results!
Having moved in not long before the project, we thought the previous kitchen was in a bit of a sorry state and we were keen to fix it up. To make the most use of space, we wanted to block off a previous entrance, and remove some shelving to create a much more open plan space. Demolishing the old kitchen and learning to build stud walls was all part of the fun!
Using the DIY Kitchens planner, we were able to design our perfect kitchen - and we think it looks just like the preview!
We adore the colour - we had the doors and panels painted in a bespoke colour, and we think it looks lovely against the white carrera quartz worktop, also ordered through DIY Kitchens, and dark grey hexagonal tiles with underfloor heating underneath.
We teamed it with brass sockets and switches and a brass tap and hose to finish the extra wide Bristol sink. A new Range Master oven and hood and dishwasher, fridge and microwave from Bosch, a new (and hidden) boiler and bespoke shelving completed our perfect kitchen.
With a ‘G’ shaped kitchen, we really made the most of the special corner units, and with a bit of confidence from the build we even plucked up the courage to craft a bespoke over-fridge extra deep cabinet and an under plinth drawer by customising extra panels.
We’re really happy with the finished look, and are particularly impressed with the quality of the units and doors compared to competitor kitchens we looked at. Installing it ourselves and with the great value of the units, we know we’ve saved many thousands of pounds. We’ve enjoyed giving it its first big test cooking for 15 over Christmas! Thanks to all at DIY kitchens for their help and brilliant customer service. '
Geoff from Cambridgeshire 'We’ve finished up with a wonderful kitchen, exactly as we wanted, and for much less that it would have cost elsewhere. We heard of DIY Kitchens through Google – the planning capabilities of the website and many positive reviews elsewhere convinced us! We've no specific figures to give but we’re confident that, overall, our kitchen cost us several £1000s less than if we had gone with a local retailer.'
Christina from Doncaster 'I’m delighted with our kitchen. We were recommended DIY Kitchens by our friends, who had recently done their own kitchen renovation and we weren’t disappointed. The quality is excellent and the huge range of cabinet sizes and styles meant we could fully maximise the space we had in our 1930s semi.
I really enjoyed being able to design the kitchen myself and had support along the way whenever I needed to check things with the DIY Kitchens staff. The pull-out larder and pull out bins are probably my favourite features as they keep everything so tidy. We also got our worktops through DIY Kitchens and were able to sample everything together to see what would best suit our style.
We're lucky that we’re just up the road from the showroom, so we were able to make a few trips there. It’s definitely worth making a visit for the huge savings you will make on your kitchen (thousands of pounds for us compared to a lower spec Howdens kitchen we compared ours with).
Overall, I would recommend DIY Kitchens and would definitely use them for future projects.'
Georgia from Buckinghamshire 'The kitchen units are absolutely stunning. I opted for Linton Knightsbridge blue for a timeless style. The dark blue really elevates the space makes a dramatic impact against the light decor in my kitchen extension.
I was delighted with the quality of the kitchen as well as the customer service, planning tool and delivery process from DIY Kitchens. I was given plenty of notice to organise the fitting of the kitchen units. The drawers are spacious - all my large pots and pans fit in perfectly (highly recommend opting for drawer space).
Besides the usual cupboards, doors and drawers, I chose a pull out bin unit and doors for integrated appliances, such as my fridge/freezer and dishwasher - this gives the kitchen a seamless design. I absolutely love spending time in this room, it’s a social space and very much the heart of the house.
I placed my order with help from a family friend who is a carpenter, he fits kitchens frequently and gave DIY Kitchens a glowing review.
My kitchen came in at just over 4k, the likes of Howdens and Wren were quoting around 10k! Thanks so much!'
Stephanie from Warwickshire 'I would just like to say we are very pleased with our new kitchen from DIY Kitchens. It was just the look we were after. Modern but elegant. The units are Norton in Dove Grey. The island is Norton bespoke in colour matched to Dulux Sapphire Salute. '
Trevor from Suffolk 'I have now finished my kitchen and it looks great, excellent support and product. So pleased with it many thanks.'
Abby from Bristol 'I just wanted to (finally) send some feedback on my gorgeous kitchen as the finishing touches have now come together.
I was recommended DIY Kitchens through my friend Lydia at Best Little Building Company. She had used your kitchens on some of her projects and told me what incredible quality and service you provided.
I ordered a Shaker kitchen in Cashmere with a combination of Oak worktops and fine white marble for the sink/island unit. It is absolutely beautiful and the quality of the cabinets is excellent. It surpasses the standard of every other kitchen I had quotes for!
I particularly love the wire basket and bin drawer pull out base units. My builders were able to fit everything with ease and the one missing item from the order was sent out quickly after some very helpful communication with your team.
I have gone on to recommend you to friends who are looking to replace or upgrade their kitchens and I wouldn’t hesitate to use DIY Kitchens again in the future. Thanks for transforming my kitchen! '
Jonida from Buckinghamshire 'First, I just wanted to let you know that we absolutely love our kitchen! A friend of mine introduced me to DIY-Kitchens when I started to make plans for our new home. I was so impressed with the service, price and of course the kitchen itself, it looks exactly as I had hoped for!
We went for Linwood in Mussel and although I had my heart set on Helmsley, there were a few units not available at the time I placed my order. But, I actually prefer Linwood now that I have it.
Thank you so much!!! I hope this will inspire anyone that is looking to make a difference without the need to extend, not spend a fortune and still have a very stylish and good quality kitchen. '
Tony from London 'We had a really good experience with DIY Kitchens, which was recommended by a friend and our family is happy with the new kitchen! We did a kitchen extension and the actual kitchen was the area we had to save on, with building costs so high. DIY came out much cheaper than other brands which quoted for us. The kitchen is beautiful and ordering though DIY was seamless.'
Thomas from Wenlock 'I've been using DIY Kitchens in all my builds from log cabins (in picture) to shepherds hut. Great units & solid. Customer service is also brilliant!!'
Jonny & Sally from Wakefield 'We are really pleased with the kitchen, excellent quality with a superb service from DIY Kitchens. The process seemed daunting at first but we found the website and the design and ordering system really quite simple, once you get started. Our recommendation for DIY Kitchens came from our family. '
Emma & Adam from Essex '
Here are some photos of our renovation, we absolutely love our DIY kitchen! From the doors to the drawers, the quality is fantastic, a real sturdy feel throughout.
Having the option to chose your own bespoke colours is a real bonus, it meant we could get exactly what we envisioned. We’ve had some lovely compliments from friends and family and we can’t recommend DIY Kitchens enough. The service from the moment we started to design our kitchen, all the way though to delivery and beyond was seamless, a really pleasant experience.
We heard about DIY Kitchens though family, who have also used you and had a great experience. We saved thousands using DIY Kitchens over other kitchens quotes, and had a much better, friendlier experience and we felt valued.'
Lucy & Roger from Oxfordshire 'We're really pleased with the finished look of our kitchen. It's exactly what we had planned and cost us a fraction of what typical kitchen retailers quoted us. It was a dream come true to be able to host our whole family in it this Christmas. We heard about you on Instagram.'
Victoria from Essex 'This is our utility/laundry room, created with DIY Kitchens. We are over the moon with our DIY Kitchens units, they were considerably cheaper than all the other quotes we had but comparable if not higher standard.
The units were supplied already made, so that saved time and money in fitting. Have recommended far and wide and would certainly use again.
Finally a nice room to deal with the mountains of laundry generated by my family, Lottie the miniature schnauzer approves too! '
Debbie from Cumbria 'To say we are happy with our new kitchen is an understatement, the quality is exceptional, we didn’t get our worktops from you as we have a friend in the business and the under stairs cupboard was bespoke made by our very clever joiner!
From start to finish, the service was seamless, the online planner is very intuitive, with a litter help from your knowledgable customer service team. Aftersales service couldn’t be faulted either, a couple of units got damaged in transit, but were replaced, immediately, no questions.
We heard about DIY Kitchens through a friend, and so pleased we did, as this offered us a huge saving compared to showroom kitchen companies. We can’t thank you enough for supplying our dream kitchen and would highly recommend to everyone.'
Sophie from Warwickshire 'Overall we’ve been really pleased with the quality of our kitchen. The customer service was amazing (no problem was too much and issues were dealt with very quickly). The delivery team were great and the worktop team were very accommodating and professional.
We initially had quotes from Wren and Magnet - we saved thousands!! There were some personalisation bits we weren't able to do through DIY themselves (for which we then had to do it ourselves - eg painting the shelves of our pantry/drinks area).
Overall very pleased. We heard about DIY Kitchens from my sister-in-law who was looking for her own kitchen.'
Lowell from Reading 'My mum installed one of your kitchens and the quality was amazing and it was significantly cheaper than Howdens/B&Q. (@abztower - Instagram)'
Cara from Leeds 'From the very moment my delivery arrived and I saw a flash of pink through the packaging, I have been completely in love with my new kitchen. The quality and appearance of the units surpassed my expectations, and several months on, I am delighted in their durability. My kitchen has been through a huge transformation since I took on this project and I spent a long time deliberating over the style, colour and layout of this room. Visiting the showroom and using the online planning tool really helped me to make the right decisions before ordering.
It was so important to have the opportunity to personalise the finishing touches of my kitchen, but also have the option to find everything in one place if I needed it (appliances, etc). I also can't fault the team on the excellent customer service I received throughout the ordering and aftercare process.
I was recommended to you from friends and family. I initially received a quote from Howdens on the advice of my builder but this would have added around a third more to the price of the units I ordered. Given that I had the choice of a completely bespoke colour scheme, it was a no-brainer to go with DIY Kitchens.'
Nick from Bournemouth 'My overall impression of the quality of the units and doors is excellent especially when compared to some more expensive big name kitchen providers. I first heard about DIY Kitchens from "Which" magazine. The saving compared with all the other quotes I had was in the 30 - 40% region.'
Morwenna from London '"We're based in North London, and found DIY Kitchens online from reading reviews and doing our research. We're totally in love with the kitchen – it truly is the kitchen of our dreams – and the first thing that everyone says when they walk in is 'wow!'. We've also used DIY Kitchens units in our hallway, and are about to install some into our family bathroom."'
Paul from Essex 'I’m very happy with how everything came out and feel I got the most out of probably one of the smallest kitchens you’ve ever supplied (2m x 2.37m). I feel I’ve made maximum use of the space available and where I haven’t had space for a breakfast bar or dishwasher I’ve spend the money on top end appliances (everything AEG) and a gorgeous aspen ice sparkly quartz worktop.
I heard of DIY Kitchens mainly through an online search through Google, Facebook & YouTube. I work as a piano tuner & French polisher by trade and I see through work how a lot of products these days were made to look nice but fall apart due to cheap materials. I wanted something made well that would last and made properly.'
Lesley from Derbyshire 'DIY Kitchens was recommended to me by my joiner, he had previously fitted one of your kitchens and was impressed by the quality and the saving the customer had made compared to other kitchen companies.
I had a number of quotes and DIY Kitchens was by far the cheapest. The quality of the units and doors was no different to the other companies. You also had a greater range of colours to chose from.
The Dekton worktops are excellent quality and as described, so easy to maintain and keep looking like new. Everyone who has seen the kitchen is so impressed by the high quality of the kitchen and the worktops. '
Sarah from Norfolk 'We absolutely love our new kitchen and this was our first try at fitting it ourselves. Everything was delivered really well labelled and nothing was missed. We thought it was great that the person picking our kitchen units to put onto the delivery van, was also the person delivering it.
We visited the showroom and had some fantastic help with the planning stage. I would highly recommend DIY Kitchens and will be using them again for our next kitchen. We really wanted a high end finish as Cowslip Mead is our first venture into Airbnb and the guests all love the kitchen.
Our daughter had a DIY kitchen and recommended it to us. We were quoted £20K for our inital kitchen quote and all in, it was < £6K (with quartz work surface being the most expensive item which was bought locally)'
Louise from Buckinghamshire 'We have been really pleased with the service and products from DIY Kitchens. Initially we were looking at the usual retailers where we were taken a back by the cost of the quotes for the kitchens we liked. Disappointed that we had created a space for our new kitchen but were unable to afford to buy it, I took to the internet to look for manufacturers to see if I could find the same kind of style at a more affordable price.
I stumbled across DIY kitchens and although the online showroom looked fab, it seemed a bit to good to be true. I played with the planner, ordered some samples but not wanting to spend so much without first checking it was legitimate, I threw the kids into school one morning and drove the 2.5hr journey to DIY Kitchens. It was good to look around the showroom first hand but having made the trip I can confirm that the virtual showroom is a brilliantly accurate representation of the real thing (should you not be able to visit).
This is the 4th kitchen we have fitted ourselves as DIYers; the first from DIY Kitchens. A particular bonus, and a factor in us choosing DIY Kitchens was the range of unit sizes available. The timescale between ordering and delivery was spot on at 2 weeks. It was easy to install and we loved the fact that the units came ready built and the process of the worktop people templating and installing was easy too. I even tracked down the door knobs and handles that were on display in the showroom to completed the look!
We are so pleased with the end product and get loads of compliments, spending just a 1/3 of the money quoted by high street retailers for the same layout and worktop spec. We would definitely recommend DIY Kitchens and have done so to our neighbours.'
Mark from Bexhill 'The kitchen units were delivered on time and already built. I didn't need to worry about the quality as I had paid a visit to the DIY Kitchens showroom in South Kirby, where the knowledgeable and friendly staff were more than happy to help, and I could see for myself the outstanding quality of the units.
I first heard of DIY Kitchens through watching a home restoration channel on YouTube and I was impressed with the easy to use online design program that helped me to create a kitchen to my own specifications.
With DIY Kitchens you get two 'Wows' from friends and family, the first for the amazing look of the kitchen and the second when they hear the price compared to other well-known brands!'
Harriet from Cornwall 'Really happy with the quality and paint finish. Love the ability to colour match and once I had got the hang of the design tool, I loved tailoring it to exactly what I wanted. I ended up with a kitchen that looks perfect for our home and has all the functionality and storage we wanted. Super happy and if we ever need another kitchen, we will definitely use DIY Kitchens again.
I heard about DIY Kitchens through word of mouth and joined the Facebook group prior to ordering. I made a huge saving on a comparable quote from Howdens (about £3k cheaper on a £4.5k kitchen).'
Roger from Darlington 'Here are some photographs of our newly installed DIY Kitchens kitchen. The overall impression of the new kitchen is that it is modern, up to date and well finished, while having a quality look and feel to it.
The drawers in particular have a smooth and positive action with no flexing. The biggest compliment comes from our son (who no longer lives at home) who always refers to it as a 'Premium' kitchen - high praise indeed from a fellow perfectionist who says it as it is!
We heard about DIY Kitchens from two friends (one of whom has a connection to a kitchen fitter) and both were very complimentary about the product and also about the all important after sales communication and support. Our experience mirrored those opinions so we are very pleased with all these aspects.
While we didn't obtain formal quotes from other companies, we did visit a few local showrooms. Our first showroom visit was to the DIY Kitchens showroom, where we were suitably impressed with the options on display there.
We also particularly liked the Cornflower Blue colour option for our kitchen. Subsequent visits to other supplier kitchen showrooms proved somewhat underwhelming in comparison. A further factor was the online kitchen design tool which made the task of designing our new kitchen very easy. In summary, we looked at other options but decided to go for DIY Kitchens.
Anecdotal evidence from a friend who had a kitchen fitted from another supplier suggests that we did make a saving. In view of your competitive pricing, we decided to go for the more expensive options (e.g. curved units etc. so it is difficult to compare like with like and calculate a saving.'
Marina & Don from Essex 'We ordered kitchen units and doors, when they arrived we were really impressed with the paint job and structure of the units, very well packed/protected.
The 3D kitchen planner was easy to use and the DIY Kitchens team were very helpful. We were very happy with the whole ordering/delivery process and the few issues we had after delivery were all dealt with quickly.
We came across your company on Google after browsing for new kitchens. The kitchen was installed by my husband with only professional help installing the worktop. We couldn't have wished for a better outcome. We have exactly the kitchen we always dreamed it could be!'
Jason & Chloe from Tamworth 'Here are the pictures of our installed kitchen & bar area! I'm very happy with the quality of the kitchen, it was so easy to install too!
We heard about DIY Kitchens from other family members who have ordered from you in the past and yes, we definitely made a significant saving from other kitchen quotes.'
Ann from Devon 'Here are some pictures of before and after the old 1970s kitchen was stripped out. We researched on line and found your site to be great for planning and the team really helpful answering our questions. We made savings as my partner fitted it himself. We love the finish and are very happy with it. '
Paul & Margaret from Ackworth 'We are really pleased with the finish we have achieved with our DIY kitchen. The planning process went really smoothly as help was on the other end of the phone when problems were encountered. DIY did a check on our final submitted design to make sure we had ordered all the corner posts, end pieces etc. Ultimately it went in without a hitch.
I live locally to DIY Kitchens' showroom, so they have a reputation with the fitters we used who recommended we look at them, they were pleased we had gone with DIY, as the fitting of ready built units of this quality makes their life easier.
When we were planning the kitchen, we went to a couple of other suppliers for prices and options, we placed our order with DIY at nearly half of the price of a Howdens equivalent.'
Heather & Jayne from North Yorkshire ' We knew as soon as we entered the showroom that we wanted to recreate the Stanbury Mussel kitchen in our home. Lovely quality and finish and fantastic that DIY kitchens offer reduced depth base units, allowing us to maximise space in our long and narrow kitchen.
From first contacting DIY Kitchens to after sales service, everyone was super helpful and they even helped us match up the paint to their showroom 😊
We didn’t receive any other quotes as we were stuck on DIY Kitchens after looking at other reviews. We are more than certain we made a saving. '
Lisa from Derbyshire 'Here are some photos of our kitchen, which we purchased from you this year and installed it ourselves.'
Alex from Pontefract '
DIY Kitchens had the best offering, which combined the style we were looking for with the quality of fittings and ease of installation. The selection of units, and accessories was made easy, even if I did spend the best part of a year on the online planning software making sure everything was as we wanted it to be.
The doors and carcasses are solid, easily moved and simple to install. Everything feels robust, and the installation of the worktops was taken care of by DIY Kitchens' 3rd party supplier, who came and templated and then installed a short while after. It's a common talking piece and makes our kitchen / diner area a lovely place to be.
It helped that I can take some pride knowing I installed it all myself as well, especially when the pictures show how far we came to install it.
Aftercare was spot on as well, a number of items had some transport damage, but all was taken care of without a quibble and a quick re-delivery time as well. Great customer service from a majoritively online company!
I heared about DIY Kitchens from a friend a number of years ago. I Googled to see if they were still in existence and was pleased that they were. With prices at the time, we made a saving of around £4k.'
Steve & Kathryn from Rotherham 'DIY Kitchens were recommended to us by a friend. We visited their showroom and were very impressed by the quality of the kitchens and the advice on offer form the knowledgeable staff. The whole process of designing our kitchen on the DIY Kitchens planning tool, asking for advice on our choices and making the necessary changes, ordering the kitchen and delivery was easy and rewarding.
We did have quotes from other kitchen companies but, even when you factor in the added costs of having the kitchen fitted and ordering appliances, we still saved several thousand pounds by ordering from DIY Kitchens.
We love our kitchen and utility room. We chose the solid wood doors and the quality of workmanship stands out. DIY Kitchens even made bespoke units for us that were not in their usual portfolio. The only downside was that we had to source our appliances from elsewhere because DIY Kitchens did not supply them.
The most important aspect of the whole process though is we can now stand in our kitchen with the knowledge that we designed it. That give us an enormous sense of pride in what we have achieved.
We are very pleased that we used DIY Kitchens, not only did we get a high quality kitchen that we designed ourselves, we also saved money in the process. We would definitely recommend them. '
Tabitha from Gloucestershire 'Good Quality Solid Units, especially love my pull out larder and great they came ready made. I heard about DIY Kitchens from my brother, who also bought his kitchen from you. Good Value and I did make a saving over other kitchens I looked at.'
Julie from Scarborough 'We absolutely love our new kitchen. We're extremely impressed with the quality and planning tool available. Use this facility and you can't go wrong. We also made a huge saving of at least £4000 on a like for like kitchen.'
Simon from Rickmansworth 'Here are some pictures of our utility room that I built using your units. I heard about DIY Kitchens when I found your website on the internet and definitely made a saving over other kitchen websites I looked at on the internet, and the quality of your units etc for the cost, was exceptional.'
Bev & Mike from Bristol '"The kitchen quality is excellent, I found your company online using Google and you are about 190 miles from where we live in Bristol. So, I told my wife you were just by Birmingham lol. Bev was so impressed with your showroom that she forgot the journey and loved your kitchens. We went home with loads of info and ideas and travelled back 2 weeks later, confirmed what we needed and the model range and ordered on line. Your staff where fantastic making sure we had all the correct panels, handles and colour inside cabinets etc. The kitchen arrived on the date and time agreed and the delivery guys where great and NOTHING was missing and wait for it, we saved thousands £7642, compared to Wren kitchens and that is 100% honest. All our family and friends say the kitchen looks top of the range. My son in-law helped fit it and he said it was unbelievable value."'
Kate from Horsham 'We were hugely impressed with the quality of the kitchen and we're over the moon with how it looks. Our friends used DIY Kitchens a few years ago and you came highly recommended. The cost from DIY Kitchens was thousands cheaper than a leading alternative and there was more flexibility and more choices in terms of colour and style and cupboard inserts.
We have since recommended DIY Kitchens to all our friends.'
Chris from Stockton on Tees 'Our architect recommended DIY Kitchens, not wanting to invest such a large amount of money on an internet purchase without seeing the product, we made the trip to Pontefract to see the showroom. We came out grinning with the apparent quality of the kitchen. When we finally got round to delivery about a year later and started the install we were still really impressed with the design and quality of the units. The fully assembled units made installation a dream. '
Rachael (Apex) from York 'We are very happy with how it all turned out. I have a kitchen fitting company and it is our first time using you but certainly wont be the last, we were very happy with the service and quality of products.'
Tracey from Leicestershire 'I used DIY Kitchens as recommended by many tradesmen, they rate DIY Kitchens above any other company. Great service, price and quality. I went for sage green shaker style units with an oak worktop. '
Paul from Lancashire 'The quality of the kitchen, cupboards and worktop is superb, all products came very well protected and wrapped up. The products are produced to a high quality and have good finishing touches.
My brother purchased a kitchen via yourselves about 12 months before I fitted mine this year and I too make a saving, from other high street suppliers.'
Lisa from Scunthorpe 'I saved aprox £4000 on Wren kitchen prices and i'm very happy with the superb quality x'
Craig & Amanda from West Midlands 'Fantastic from beginning to end, highly recommend both kitchen and company. The aftersales department were superb. I found DIY Kitchens online and saved thousands!'
Mat from Lichfield 'The kitchen is extremely good quality and I will definitely be ordering again when we move to onto to the next house. I fitted it myself and I'm a carpenter. The general quality of the finish is also very good. Worktops were very easy to work with and there was next to no chipping when cutting.
I Googled kitchen units and have used better kitchens before. Your units are definitely of a higher quality and actually came out with a great saving. Using DIY Kitchens saved me around £2000 overall. A lot of the money was saved on worktops, as they're a great price.'
Nigel from Berkshire 'After looking at many kitchen suppliers, styles and colours and being a Carpenter, I’ve come across many including DIY Kitchens. We chose DIY Kitchens (Malton Range in sage green and mussel) because of price, style, colour and the variations of unit sizes and accessories. Fortunately I was able to design the kitchen myself with the help of the superb website. The whole process was made very simple. We couldn’t be more pleased with the end result and the quality is superb. '
Nicole from Kent 'Really pleased with our DIY kitchen - it's exceeded our expectations. Wasn't aware of you until a salesperson at a well known high end retailer of bespoke furniture, kitchen and home decor mentioned your name on the sly during a casual conversation! I compared your prices to kitchen designs from Wren, IKEA, Howdens and a local bespoke manufacturer, and you offered the best value for money by far. The craftsmanship, customer service and style of our kitchen has been second to none, and we'll be getting another DIY Kitchen if an when we move in the future!'
Sharon from Nottingham 'I love the style and quality of my new kitchen. Saved thousands on like for like quotes.'
Stephanie from London 'Absolutely in love with my DIY Kitchen, after going to several other kitchen providers I wasn't getting the final look that I wanted to achieve within my budget. I was doing a big renovation and had big ideas! I got a custom colour and can say that it was absolutely worth it, I got a few door samples and went with the Stanbury, the quality is great and matches that of all of the other kitchen places that I went to.
I loved that I could customise my cupboards, the sizes, the fittings, the internals and the pull out bin is a game changer! Everything is high spec & quality, soft close, finish is all great and I'm super happy.
For the specification and deciding to have a bespoke colour I made substantial saving v other suppliers & my builder found it easy to fit as has gone on to recommend to his other customers.
I actually heard about DIY Kitchens after seeing their delivery lorry at a neighbour, so took a look! Will definitely use you again if I do another kitchen.'
Stu and Michelle from Teesside 'We heard about DIY Kitchens through social media, so we had a look and we’re really impressed with the range available. We had quotations done from some of the larger kitchen companies but were not impressed with the service we received or the prices they quoted, so decided we could do a better job ourselves.
DIY kitchens means you can plan exactly what you want for your kitchen. We visited the showrooms and were really impressed with the quality of the units and worktops. We found the shaker style we wanted in the exact dark blue. Having decided on the style we planned it out and we’re very surprised with the cost.
We saved so much on the cost of the other kitchen quotes that we could upgrade to quartz worktops and oak workbench for the breakfast bar and still had money left over to upgrade appliances. We also built a shoe bench in the hall using the same units and oak worktop.
We used the help team on a few occasions during the planning process for advice and they were quick to respond and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great experience and have recommended to friends who are at the start of their kitchen renovations. We cannot fault this company and if you don’t believe us then go visit their showroom.
Stu was really impressed with the free drinks and biscuits available and it meant we could browse the range for longer as he was fed.'
Kerri from Coventry 'I ordered my kitchen in October last year and my partner fitted it. He said it was super easy and really enjoyed fitting it! I love the pantry in particular, there is just so much space and with a baby on the way we really need it! We heard about DIY from a friend who has bought his kitchen from there. Overall using DIY saved me £1,000, compared to using a Howdens type kitchen, which was not as good quality or design, as the kitchen we purchased! '
Gail from London 'The kitchen we had delivered in 2023 arrived on time, well packaged and with everything our builders needed to fit it for us. The units themselves are excellent quality, flawless in manufacture and retain a rich colour with just enough sheen. There were units for everything - the pull-out larder is our favourite, but we also included a fitted microwave, dishwasher and freezer. We also fitted narrow units and extended the worktop to give us a breakfast bar.
The extras made all the difference - the cutlery inserts, the soft close and the drawer side extensions just to make sure things don't fall out - made for a great finish. Customer service was fast and helpful when we needed it, bringing our attention to anything which seemed out of the ordinary with our order before mistakes were made. Brass handles and tap, plus a white worktop, gave us exactly the look we were after.
The time you put into designing your kitchen here is well worth it, we saved about £4,000 overall compared to our local kitchen shop - with prices going up and up, this is a way to save without compromising quality.'
Rachel & Nick from Somerset 'We have installed two DIY kitchens this year! The first was a small Luca White Gloss kitchen which we installed in an outbuilding to use whilst renovation building work was carried out for our main kitchen. We originally heard about DIY kitchens from a niece who could not praise them enough.
We decided that buying the small kitchen first served two purposes - the price was so reasonable that it meant we didn't have to go without a kitchen whilst our work was being done and we could try DIY Kitchens for quality and customer service before committing to buying our main kitchen.
We were very pleased with our lovely little kitchen, the quality was excellent and the customer service team was very helpful so we didn't hesitate to then start planning our main kitchen.
Whilst it took us a long time to reach our final plan, we really enjoyed designing it. Originally we had gone to other kitchen companies but were put off not only by prices but also the pressure to design and agree a kitchen in just a few hours. It was much better to be able to try things out and move them about in our own time, and the 3d images were really helpful.
We also loved the extras that weren't available elsewhere such as the wicker basket unit (which everyone comments on) and curved doors.
The icing on the cake was the amazing prices which meant we could afford wooden doors (Norton Cobham blue and and Dove Grey) and buy ourselves a bespoke fridge freezer that we originally thought would push us over our budget. We still ended up spending less than our other kitchen quotes.
It was quite a big kitchen but we only had one minor issue which was sorted immediately by the Customer service team. Everybody who has seen our kitchens can't believe the quality and the price we paid.'
Tracy from Sheffield 'I heard about DIY Kitchens by word of mouth. This was a kitchen refresh, so, new doors, sink, tap, corner unit were from DIY kitchens. I had a couple of issues which was rectified quickly amd the quality of the units are very good and sturdy.'
Tessa from Cambridgeshire 'I was recommended DIY kitchens from a family member. I had recently had an extension to my kitchen/dining area and was looking to get some storage cupboards with a small worktop area.
What I found really useful was the online planner where I could put in the dimensions and then add in the units that I wanted, selecting the relevant widths to fit the space, then moving things around until I was happy. I am so pleased with the overall look, quality and price that I've sinced used DIY kitchens again for the replacement doors needed for the rest of my kitchen area, and so they will match my new units perfectly!'
Emily from Cambridgeshire 'Brilliant quality kitchen units. Had exactly the colour green we were after - and we were picky! Just couldn’t understand why we would pay more for other kitchens where the quality was either comparable or poorer. Support from customer services has been great from start to finish! Have recommended DIY Kitchens to everyone!
We got the units from DIY Kitchens, the handles and worktop from elsewhere. Really helped to make it our own and no pressure to take everything from DIY Kitchens. My sister and my in laws have DIY Kitchens - plus they live just down the road from the Pontefract showroom!
Definitely made a saving! Our units were at least 50% less than the competitors (Wren) for our kitchen and our utility.'
Daniela from Ealing 'One of my builders recommended DIY Kitchens, as he bought one himself and was very happy with it, so I opted for a shaker style for my Victorian home.
The previous kitchen was a lot smaller and the room layout was completely different. As we are not designers, we were a bit nervous about this, however being able to see the room on the 3D planner really helped to see how the space could be used. We spent a long time trying different layouts and envisaging using the space to make sure the layout would be practical and homely. Because we could so easily play around on the 3D planner, and also save and compare various layouts. In the end we were able to come up with a layout that we liked better than previous designs we had been given from other companies and it worked out a lot cheaper.
We wanted wood because the previous kitchen was also wood it lasted forever and could easily be painted to update the look. The doors feel very solid and high quality. We had a lot of feedback on the kitchen and the quality. Really glad we spent extra to get as many drawers as possible because they are super useful and easier to access.
When the kitchen was finished it looked much better than we could have ever imagined and the look and feel of the wood and quartz gives it a sturdiness and elegance. The carpenter who made the built-in cupboard above the washing machine was amazed at the quality. Wish we had done it sooner!'
Gavin from Solihull 'We are extremely happy with our kitchen; the quality is very high. We selected a shaker kitchen with Clayton sage doors. Our kitchen is in a dark spot of our house with limited natural light and yet because the kitchen units are so light and fresh, it gives the kitchen a lighter, brighter feel.
We particularly like that the insides of the kitchen units, they are a high quality wood effect, which fits into our overall design given our flooring and table are also wood effect. Our kitchen fitter commented that the quality was excellent and how he had no concerns or issues when fitting it.
We purchased a Belfast sink, to compliment the shaker kitchen, the tap and the door handles from DIY kitchens, all of which we are extremely happy with and feel they look great with the kitchen.
When purchasing the kitchen we found the online help very useful, everyone we conversed with were happy and helpful, from the initial design through to the delivery drivers. We subsequently had to purchase additional door handles and did this with ease and without additional unnecessary delivery costs.
We were also very pleased with the wait time for the kitchen which was only 5 weeks including the Christmas break in that time period. Most other kitchen suppliers had given us considerably longer wait periods.
The kitchen is perfect for our family. We have a 21 month old daughter who loves to run around the island with different push along toys (a shopping trolley, a pram etc) and she has been unable to damage any of the units despite several crashes and bashes. This has given us confidence that the kitchen will last without any damage for years to come. Now we have the perfect kitchen we are happy to host get togethers and we get nothing but compliments from family and friends who visit.
I am so happy with the kitchen that is it my favourite room in my house and is the perfect family room for us. I would highly recommend DIY kitchens to anyone who is looking to purchase a new kitchen.
A friend of ours had recently bought from DIY Kitchens and highly recommended them. Our friend invited us to her house to look around their kitchen and we were impressed with the quality and look of her kitchen.
The kitchen was considerably cheaper than our quotes from other kitchen suppliers. DIY Kitchens don’t have lots of show rooms full of salespeople so have considerably lower overheads which makes them cheaper without compromising on quality.'
Rachel from Surrey 'Here are the photos of my amazing kitchen!! We chose Stanbury Mussel with Calacatta Dusk Quartz worktops and splashbacks. The worktops picked up the colours in the doors and the floor beautifully, we have had many comments on how stunning it looks!!
Wow!!!! what a transformation, we are totally delighted with it!!! The quality is amazing and due to your astoundingly reasonable prices, we were able to have quartz worktops, which we never ever dreamt we could have!!
The support we got from the planning stage right through to ordering was just great. We have already recommended you to many of our friends.
Thank you so much for making it possible to have the kitchen of our dreams, totally thrilled !!!'
Jacqueline from Doncaster 'I found your company online and decided to visit your showroom. This was a big mistake as after looking round, I had to buy. I went straight home and measured and planned my kitchen, I've never done this before, so I was very nervous but I checked and checked again.
I didn't realise that I could fit as many units and drawers that I did, as my kitchen is only a galley kitchen and I didn't want any wall cupboards, to make it look bigger. I used every bit of space that I could. There is a vast choice of designs and colours but I went for the Malton range in alabaster colour with the walnut sangha wenge - worktop, and cup handles and knobs in polished nickel.
The whole kitchen cost me around £2700 including delivery plus an extra £100 for a smaller vehicle because of where I live. The day the kitchen arrived, the units and drawers were already built, wow. I would never have believed that all these units and drawers would fit into my kitchen, but they did. They are of very good quality and even my joiner said these are a good quality, and the colour was perfect.
I love everything about my kitchen, it is exactly how I wanted it to be. The customer service team were amazing helping me with any questions I had.
On in all I'm very happy with my purchase great quality looks amazing and easy to install and would highly recommend this company as I already have done to friends and family.'
Nicki from Stoke on Trent 'Here are some photos of my finished project, in a Welsh Miner's cottage. Very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend.'
Catherine from London '"Very happy with the quality of the kitchen for the price. I Heard about DIY Kitchens from a family member. We didn't make a saving as such but we were able to get a solid wood kitchen in the colour we wanted for the same price we were quoted for the basic mdf range at another brand which only came in very limited colours."'
Michelle from Barnsley '"I had a comparison quote from Magnet of £25k reduced to 12k by them. Paid less than £4 from DIY Kitchens. Asked friends on Facebook who to use due to above silly quote & was recommended to you by a work colleague. Thrilled with the overall finish, easy to fit & have had many complements! I love my kitchen."'
Alex from Orpington '"I'm really pleased with the whole process from design, ordering, help and guidance from the DIY Kitchens team, right through to delivery. The quality of the cabinets, worktop down to the handles and hinges are great, the options that were available to suit the needs of what I was after, were brilliant. I am so pleased with how my kitchen renovation went and the transformation that was made! I ended up saving around £5000 on my kitchen thanks to DIY Kitchens." '
Carly from Chester '"The quality of the kitchen is super, I am so happy with the finished look. I heard about DIY Kitchens after seeing a kitchen transformation in a home inspiration magazine, and I knew it was the exact look I was hoping to achieve. The doors have already taken a few knocks (due to having children at home) but still look as good as the day they were installed! I did take a look at other kitchen brands, but nothing came close to the quality and price of DIY Kitchens. I was actually quite dubious about the quality when I looked at the price, figuring ‘you get what you pay for’. Happy to repot that’s not the case here!"'
Heather from Swansea '"Here are some pictures of our recently installed shaker kitchen. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. As you can see, we had some interesting spaces to contend with, and the way DIY Kitchens allows you to order separate doors and cupboards, allowed us to create a very intricate corner unit, which would’ve cost us a fortune otherwise. We were particularly delighted with the bin cupboard, as that is now taking away all the mess in the kitchen. The kitchen is small but we managed to create an open plan space with an island that could provide additional storage space underneath. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and will hopefully last for many years."'
Mathew from North Wales '"The kitchen is really well built and easy to fit. Well impressed with the quality, simplicity and ease of fitment. Top top quality for a really good price. I heard about DIY kitchen from a family member. The delivery team were really good and helpful. All in all, a really good product, support and delivery team. Will defiantly use again."'
Lynda from East Yorkshire 'Here is my DIY kitchen, which I love. It is a very tiny galley kitchen, but I have maximised the space as best as I could, and have incorporated, drawers, pull out storage, and slide out bins. I even managed to get a larder unit and a broom cupboard in, after removing a door frame and a section of wall.
The range of sizes and styles was amazing. I found your 300mm base units ideal, as I have cupboard space both sides, which none of the other houses in the terrace have. My builder/kitchen fitter was very impressed with quality and build of the units, he even got his boss to come and have a look at them.
I have found your customer service team very helpful, before and after delivery. I would highly recommend your company.'
Andrew from South Lanarkshire 'Here are some images of my kitchen that I bought from you. I saved about 60% from another quote given to me. I heard of you via a friend who works in the building trade. The kitchen I now have is excellent quality and very good value for money.'
Jenny and Richard from Kent 'Our daughter has a DIY Kitchen in Gloucestershire, which we like, so after getting a quote from a local company, which was too high on top of the building work, we made the decision to go with your Norton bespoke range, and chose two bespoke colours. We’re thrilled with the results - a high quality, functional and practical kitchen at a good price. It has been much admired by friends who have seen it, even though we haven’t yet put up blinds and pictures!
We like wide pull out drawers, and have gone for the glass sides - all our crockery fits in one of these - and also the narrow pullouts, which are great for all the herbs and spices. The pull out larder unit and integrated fridge, and dishwasher make everything look streamlined. '
Tanya from Woking 'I was first introduced to DIY Kitchens by a friend and then it dominated my Instagram searches. I loved the cashmere colour units and am so happy with the final finish. It came in at a fraction of the cost of other brands, and with the DIY planner, I was able to adapt the plans to get exactly what I wanted, including my little pull out condiment unit, built in bin, pan cupboard and corner units. I love it. '
Mick & Elaine from Wakefield 'We first heard about DIY Kitchens through recommendations from friends. In fact our kitchen fitter preferred fitting them and recommended them for build quality and finish. The prices beat the competition from Wrens and Howdens and we loved the heron grey/dove grey combination in the showroom.
The online planning tool was great and the support with our queries was excellent. We are very pleased with the finished result.'
Kemi from Northamptonshire 'We heard about DIY Kitchens from our kitchen fitter who spoke highly of the quality and the great customer service. We visited the showroom and we weren't disappointed. The designing, ordering and delivery went smoothly and our kitchen looks fabulous. Thank you. '
Andrea from Pontefract 'Our original kitchen was small, we had this knocked through into the dining room and opened it up into the conservatory to make a huge family space, I absolutely love it.
Amazing kitchen, my joiner said it was fabulous quality and a pleasure to fit. Easy to order as the online service won’t let you get it wrong, we did have one door that had a mark on, no issue replaced straightaway.
Cost, let’s just say my other quotes were £5,000, £10,300 and £8,000 dearer. I have recommended DIY Kitchens to all my friends, just as they were recommended to me. I choose the quartz worktops through DIY kitchens, again fabulous service.'
Emma & Chris from Shropshire 'Here are our finished kitchen photos. We chose Dalby in Knightsbridge blue. We absolutely love it.'
Jack & Anna from Essex 'Good finish on the doors, strong base units, easy to install, delivery was really good with really nice friendly team. Damaged unit replaced quickly. Good points and communication when designing the kitchen. Would definitely use again! I heard about DIY kitchens online and saved compared to other kitchen quotes.'
Jodie from Tadcaster 'Here are the photos of my DIY Kitchen. We heard about DIY Kitchens as I know a few people that had used them and recommended them. It was cheaper than other companies and it was very helpful to be able to come and look around the showroom (5/6 times). Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The added bonus of complimentary refreshments meant that our two children enjoyed coming too! We love our kitchen and feel it’s as good a quality as the more expensive ones. '
Dud from Hitchin 'Very impressed with build of units and painted doors as opposed to laminate. Units well constructed and easy to put in & worktop excellent quality. Overall, 10/10, having saved £1,100 on similar ready built units. You were recommended by professional kitchen fitter. '
Helen from Manchester 'We get so may compliments on our kitchen, we would recommend DIY to anyone looking for a new kitchen. We heard about DIY Kitchens from our Builder, Cornfield Construction, Elliott Travis. We had quotes from Wren kitchens and DIY was much better.'
Jane from Bristol 'I love my new Dove Grey shaker style kitchen. It’s incredible quality and it brings a light and fresh feel to my kitchen. I can’t believe how well made this is and all my friends love it and think I spent twice the price! I saved so much money and yet the workmanship on these is 100% quality. The whole process was incredibly easy, I would definitely recommend DIY kitchens to anyone. '
Annabelle from Scotland 'This kitchen is in our "upside down" cottage in Scotland. The house was derelict, we moved the kitchen from the back downstairs to the first floor front. We LOVE it sitting at the breakfast bar watching the view! We ALSO put a DIY micro kitchen in the hall on the ground floor as a tea/coffee making area with a fridge and sink. '
Daniel from Southampton 'The kitchen cupboards are amazingly well built, every trade we’ve had in has commented on their sturdiness and the high quality thick back panels. The hinges and drawer sliders used are all great quality too. The solid cupboard doors and matching end panels are beautifully made and the paint is good quality and a lovey finish. Overall we couldn’t have been happier with the whole service including the helpful design and delivery teams. We heard about DIY Kitchens through property renovators on YouTube and our kitchen was significantly cheaper than other quotes, approximately 50% cheaper.'
Nigel from Hampshire 'I researched kitchen suppliers on the internet and found very favourable reviews. Your prices beat all our local suppliers Wren. Magnet ,Howden and B&Q on quality and price also unit options as we specifically wanted a walk-in larder cupboard. All units very well made and were easy to install. We love the pull-out drawers and cutlery storage trays.'
Natalie & Ricky from Chester 'We have found the quality of the kitchen fantastic. It is holding up to family life perfectly! I heard about DIY through other people's Instagram accounts when I was researching kitchen suppliers. I didn' get any other quotes as I was so convinced I wanted a DIY kitchen. '
Jordan from Lancashire 'The quality of the kitchen was the best I've experienced. I work in construction and use all the large kitchen suppliers, i.e. Moores, Howdens, Magnet, Symphony, Rixonway and most ranges. I heard great things about DIY so we decided to visit your showroom before we ordered from one of the above. We were so please we did and placed an order the very next week!
Delivery was great, all the kitchen units really well packaged and fully assembled. Cabinets really well built even the cabinet legs are a high end product and not the cheap ones seen with other suppliers. A fantastic experience!! Thank you! '
Fiona & Lee from Warrington 'My overall impression of the kitchen is that it looks stunning and several friends and neighbours have been round to admire it and have gone onto purchase from you. The units are excellent at saving space and making best use of the area available. The finish is excellent and made to a fantastic standard.
I heard about you from our son-in-law who fitted the kitchen. He's a kitchen fitter by trade and preferred to install yours over any competitors' products. We were delighted to get such quality at a great price - it was excellent value. We saved more than enough on the Howden's quote to buy a splashback that really complemented the kitchen. '
Alan and Amanda from Gloucestershire 'We absolutely love our new DIY kitchen! We couldn’t decide between the Malton Sage or Grey so we ordered some samples and had them up in the old kitchen space for a while to see what the colour looked like in different lighting. In the end we opted for the sage with copper handles which is a beautiful combination. The copper really pops against the green.
The solid oak worktops really complement the country cottage look we were looking for. The kitchen feels really solid and the quality for the price is remarkable. We ended up with a much higher spec kitchen and still paid £5k less than a well-known high street kitchen company we also had a quote from.
We discovered DIY kitchens through Google and read up on customer reviews, which were impressive. The whole process was so simple and the customer service was outstanding, as per other people’s reviews. We have been waxing lyrical about DIY kitchens to anyone who will listen! We wouldn’t go anywhere else now. '
Bev from Swindon 'The room wasn’t a kitchen to start with and quite a narrow room, but the DIY Kitchen units transformed it and I love it now.
The kitchen units are excellent quality and the kitchen fitter likened them to a high end kitchen company that he fits for, no issues with fitting them. The cost was lower than anywhere else. The worktop is from elsewhere.
The ordering seemed daunting at first but was fairly straight forward once I got the hang of it. It’s definitely worth getting a professional to check over measurements before ordering. I would definitely recommend and I would use again without doubt if I move house.'
Andrea from Yorkshire 'Our original kitchen was small so we had this knocked through into dining room and opened back up into the conservatory, to make a huge family space. I absolutely love it.
The kitchen is amazing, my joiner said it was fabulous quality and a pleasure to fit. It was also Easy to order, as the online service won’t let you get it wrong, we did have one door that had a mark on but no issue replaced straightaway.
Cost wise, let’s just say my other quotes were £5,000, £10,300, and £8,000 dearer. I have recommended DIY Kitchens to everyone and they were recommended to me. I choose the quartz worktops through DIY kitchens, again, fabulous service'
Danielle from Cheshire 'We absolutely love our kitchen. Really impressed with the quality and value for money. Our builder and kitchen fitter were gobsmacked at the price and said they’d recommend you to clients going forwards! '
Howard from Bretby 'We enjoyed working with DIY Kitchens, always friendly and helpful. The finished kitchen looks great and for sure would have cost a lot more from elsewhere, although this is tricky to quantify as we bought a bigger kitchen from you than otherwise we would have done. Worktops are a dream!
We heard about you from a friend who also fitted on of your kitchens.'
Sophie from Lincolnshire 'Fantastic and quick responses from the team, the quality of the kitchen is exceptional and much better than other companies I had looked at. The colour choices are amazing and being sent samples helps you check the lighting in the actual kitchen, so you can be sure on your choice. Exceptional! '
Billy from Surrey 'We heard about DIY-kitchens through a friend and i'm impressed with the range of units, quality of the doors, worktops and customer service of DIY Kitchens and have been recommending them to friends who have been remodelling their kitchens lately.
We made a huge saving enabling us to build our dream kitchen for half the price of what was quoted locally.
Over all we're really happy with our new kitchen.'
Alan From Gloucester 'I had used DIY Kitchens before so took a trip to the show room to get a better idea of what we wanted in terms of tyre of styles and colours. Armed with this we then used the planner to create our new kitchen and I must say the staff were quick to respond to any queries.
The quality is in my opinion excellent, good build quality of the units, fittings and doors and best of all they come built, plus, I had the oven unit dry assembled to enable the oven and microwave to be lowered and the lower draw front utilised as an upper door. Whilst there were some issues with a couple of parts, this was rectified very quickly, with all the staff being extremely helpful and friendly.
Finally, the quartz worktops were sourced though DIY Kitchens and again, an excellent service and they certainly set of the overall look of the kitchen. I would certainly recommend DIY kitchens to both the trade and those with the diy skills to do it themselves'
William from Edinburgh 'Here are some photos of my Norton Dove Gray kitchen. The beauty of DIY Kitchens was that apart from some electrical work, I was able to do the rest, from design using the excellent online tool to completion by myself as a competent d-i-yer.
The quality was top notch. I had found you on the internet and checked out the reviews, liked what I saw and read and went for it without bothering about other kitchen suppliers and I am more than happy that I did.'
Tony from Yorkshire 'Here are some pictures of my kitchen that I bought from you, I hope you like them as much as I love my kitchen!
The quality and finish of the units are excellent and they were delivered on time with friendly staff who were very helpful. My brother had previously bought his kitchen from you and was singing your praises (and he is a perfectionist), so we thought if it’s good enough for him it will be good enough for us - and it certainly exceeded our expectations!
The total cost of our kitchen worked out far cheaper than most of the other suppliers, but this did not mean that we compromised on the quality. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at DIY kitchens for your excellent service.'
Chris from Barnsley 'I am so impressed with the high quality and value of this beautiful kitchen, it looks amazing. People cannot believe the price I paid for this stunning kitchen. They guessed at a price 2 or 3 times what I paid.
The quality and value and customer service is second to none. I was originally recommended DIY Kitchens and was then hooked and have made several orders since. I don't even look anywhere else, as there is nowhere that comes close to your quality and value.'
David from Buckinghamshire 'Genuinely super delighted with the product and the service we received.'
Paul from Cambridge 'We were blown away with the whole process from DIY Kitchens. The online help with our order was efficient and extremely helpful. Everything was delivered with zero problems and the quality of the doors and units is excellent.
We heard about DIY Kitchens from a friend, who had been a previous customer and had also been full of praise. We made a substantial saving from other kitchen quotes for the same style and would not hesitate to use DIY Kitchens again in the future and would recommend to friends and family. '
Eva from Glasgow 'Here are some photos of my fantastic kitchen!! I was blown away with the quality and look of my worktops and kitchen cupboard units. Both look much more expensive than the actual cost and the range of styles, colours and grain textures available really impressed me. I also found the service to be very personal and loved the special touch of a gift box with tea and biscuits - much needed when moving into my first flat! I made an approximate saving of £1,500 compared to average quotes from other companies.'
Keith from Stafford 'My wife and I decided to have a utility fitted first and we were so pleased with the quality and style of all the units received. Also choosing on line, ordering, delivery and the whole process for us was stress free and straightforward.
We immediately decided to have a whole new kitchen exactly the same and we were not disappointed. It is absolutely beautiful. Our friends and neighbours have all said how lovely our home is now. Thank you for everything.'
Vivienne from Surrey 'Here are some photos of my new kitchen which I purchased in September last year following a visit to your showroom with my partner Jason and our dog Dexter who was a big hit with the girls in the showroom who made us all feel extremely welcome.
Jason is a kitchen fitter by trade and had fitted one of your kitchens for a customer and thought it was a very good quality, so when I needed a new kitchen, we came up to see you.
I was also very impressed with the quality and price of the kitchens. I decided to order a Norton kitchen in sage green. Now it has been installed, I am very happy with the finish and how nice it has made my kitchen look. The natural oak carcasses go really well with the green and the oak worktops and upstands look amazing. The secret is to make sure they are well oiled, you can tell that my partner is a kitchen fitter!, he is also a perfectionist, so I am really lucky that he was able to fit it for me to such a high standard, the only drawback was I had to wait until March, as he was so busy fitting kitchens for his customers.
At the time I bought my new kitchen, you were unable to supply any white goods, so I purchased these online from other suppliers, however, overall taking everything into account, I managed to save approximately £4000 on the quote I received from Howdens. The overall finish is far superior to any other kitchens I had looked at, so the saving was an even bigger bonus.
I hope you like the photos, Dexter has made an appearance and sends his love to you all. I have also attached some photos of my old kitchen so you can see the transformation. I would also like to say thank you for the welcome gift of flapjacks and Yorkshire tea bags, it was a nice touch to an overall excellent service.'
Shauna from Bournemouth 'I cannot rate DIY Kitchens enough. The planning tool was just incredible. I wanted a lot from my space however after receiving a quotation of £75k to extend the property out 1.8m before flooring etc I needed to work clever.
I had two kitchens designed by different companies and they lacked something special. Having the units fully assembled with soft close doors was fantastic! We went for Norton doors in cashmere and for bench seating, we used reduced height drawers with the Carrera doors in the cashmere. The tongue and groove end panels add that high end look with a huge saving compared to the three other companies we initially looked into.
I had seen rave reviews on Instagram, so I felt confident in ordering. Delivery was terrific and the units were flawless. The top up paint however was very useful. Having a baby walker crash into the island area does take its toll. We are just so happy, it’s given our growing family a beautiful kitchen diner. '
Pete from Market Harborough 'Great quality and competitive prices and I found DIY kitchens on Google. I had a quote from Howdens, who I have a trade account with but your kitchen worked out cheaper and I also thought the quality of yours was better. I used to design and fit kitchens and can thoroughly recommend you.'
Sophie & Mike from from Leicestershire 'We are extremely impressed with the quality and craftsmanship that went into building our dream kitchen. The finish on the doors and cupboards is excellent, and our quartz worktop is impeccable - size cut to perfection!
We loved looking around the showroom to get a feel for how it would really look and work for us, and it made our minds up about which wood finish to choose.
We had excellent customer service throughout with our many changes and alterations. We are absolutely in love with our completed kitchen and have recommended DIY Kitchens to friends and family! We were recommended by 3 friends and we saved £3k by choosing DIY Kitchens over Wren.'
Richard & Julie from Lincs 'Absolutely delighted with the kitchen, the quality the build the choice and the after sales support was way and above what we expected.
We were not able to fit the kitchen for 6 months after delivery and had a couple of issues with a cupboard and shelving unit on installation. These were replaced, no questions asked and were with us two days later, now that’s customer service!!
We heard of DIY kitchens from a relative who had also purchased from yourselves. We were able to have lots more additional features ie round cupboard's and ends etc, which were out of reach with other quotes.'
Vicki from Yorkshire 'We love the quality and everyone comments on how lovely it is and your service was second to none. We were both so impressed.'
Natalia from Stockport 'The kitchen is great! Quality is great! We had so many questions during the planning stage and the diy-kitchens support team were always there quickly replying. We chose the worktop from here too as we were so impressed by the fact that its not real stone, but had the smooth texture as if it were.
The range of units were also impressive and we managed to fit everything in that we wanted including 2 pull out larder units! We preferred having the control to design it ourselves and what stood out was the quick lead time on delivery. As soon as were able to measure the space properly we ordered and so it meant the whole kitchen could be renovated and re-fit at once rather than having a gap between.'
Meriel from Surrey 'Having been very impressed with my daughter's new kitchen, purchased from DIY Kitchens; the quality of the units, the colour of the door and drawer fronts, the variety of units available and the overall look of the finished kitchen, we did not hesitate to choose to go with DIY Kitchens when we moved in to a new bungalow recently.
The existing kitchen units were old and worn and there was a dead area at one end. By incorporating a corner larder cupboard, we were able to make excellent use of the said space. Our new kitchen has considerably more storage space and by choosing integrated appliances and including a variety of units and accessories, we now have a very attractive and highly efficient kitchen.
I was pleased I opted for “soft close” too. To add the final touch, we chose a quartz worktop surface, with matching upstands, window sill, and cooker and sink splash-backs. The final cost came in considerably lower than the quote we had received from a High Street kitchen supplier.'
Natalie from York 'We absolutely love our DIY Kitchen. From start to finish it's been a fantastic experience. There's no pushy sales tactics, the design tool is really straightforward and simple to use. It was also reassuring to know that a member of staf then double checks your order as well to make sure there's nothing obvious missing!
The delivery people were so friendly and a massive help. The kitchen itself is a quality kitchen. I love how it looks, I love how big the cupboards are and the amount of space. The colours are great. I couldn't recommend them enough! (I also tell everyone about the amount of snacks & drinks in the showroom, that won me over straight away!!!)
Both my plasterer and my door and window fitter recommended you. We saved roughly £2000 by using DIY Kitchens over Wren and the process was so much nicer with DIY kitchens. I feel really strongly about my dislike of Wren's pushy sales tactics. '
Lydia from Cambridgeshire '"Here’s my kitchen that I fitted myself. I am so happy with the quality and attention to detail that your products provide. Nothing was too much trouble from yourselves with any minor issues. We heard about your company from a family member and now have recommended you to lots of our friends and work colleagues. Thank you once again for your great service."'
Richard from Whittlesey 'I found DIY Kitchens via an online video by someone comparing different kitchen manufacturers. I then looked at your website and then visited your showroom with my brother and sister in law to view your range of kitchens. We have since visited the showroom a further two or three times as after my brother and sister in law saw my kitchen they decided against a Howdens kitchen, by the way we both have an account at Howdens, and have ordered and received one of your kitchens which I am now fitting.
We are impressed by the quality of everything including the ordering process and customer services, for instance your units have more substantial legs and big diameter feet plus on the 1000mm units you have an extra leg and any queries/questions have been replied to promptly. I have fitted kitchens from Magnet, Wickes and several of the diy sheds and can say that DIY's kitchen has been the best I've fitted.
I didn't get a quote from any other manufacturers because I was more than happy with the price, my brother's kitchen would have been £8000 to £9000 from Howdens and was less than £5000 from DIY, Howdens said they would match your price but when they were sent the product list of your kitchen they didn't respond I think that says it all. Again many thanks from a very happy customer.'
Paul & Lydia from Yorkshire 'Very happy with the quality of the cabinets and doors. Love the Malton range and the colour. Heard about DIY Kitchens from our Joiner and saved almost half of other kitchen quotes:)'
Warren from Southampton 'Having previously bought a cream wooden kitchen from DIY Kitchens when we first renovated our 1910 period home 15 years ago, we have been very happy with the kitchen in every respect. Therefore, when we decided to update the look of our kitchen in late 2022, we didn’t hesitate to check out their new range of kitchens. We were delighted to find that they were still significantly cheaper than any other quote we had for a similar solid wood shaker style kitchen, and ordered our new kitchen confident in the high quality for a fantastic price, with great advice and customer service too.
Now the new kitchen is fitted, we couldn’t be happier with the results. We had a couple of hiccups with a unit that had gotten damaged during delivery and a handle that had a damaged thread. However, the team at DIY Kitchens swiftly resolved the issue and sent out new ones without question within a couple of days.
The photos show our transformation from one DIY kitchen to another up to date one. Would have no hesitation in returning to the company should we want to update again in the future.'
Kerry & Drew from Aberdeenshire 'We are over the moon with the transformation of our kitchen thanks to DIY Kitchens, so glad we found out about you on an online forum, it is a little scary designing the kitchen yourself on the planner but good fun if you are similar to me and like to tweak away at the little details (also help is only a click away on the planner if you have any problems).
The quality of the units is really impressive very sturdy and well made, we went for the square edge laminate worktop and are super impressed much cheaper than real oak and with a young family a lot less worry!! The worktop seems like it will take all we can throw at it.
The unit doors look brilliant and we ended up going for Dakar, which was a bit of a surprise for both of us, but it was the colour we both liked most in the samples we were sent. We were given quotes from 2 other companies and we definitely saved thousands by going with our gut and getting our new family kitchen through DIY Kitchens.'
Will from North Yorkshire 'Excellent quality units and doors & fantastic delivery service. Very helpful and efficient customer service and kept up to date throughout the entire process. I would, and have, highly recommend you to friends and family (and anyone else for that matter). I heard about you on YouTube and from Google searches and saved around £1100 over a similar spec kitchen from Wren (and no pushy sales people!)'
Chris from London 'Our lovely shaker kitchen, in a bespoke colour. We love it! Thank you DIY Kitchens.'
Amy from Oxfordshire 'We’re really pleased with the look of the kitchen and quality of the units. The online planning tool was great and there were so many different options of cupboards and units for all sorts of widths and depths. It was under 1/3 of the price of the equivalent Magnet kitchen and we have a better kitchen than they could offer!
We especially love the walk in larder. We know 4 sets of friends with DIY Kitchens, so rather than visiting the showroom, we got a good idea of the different styles and quality from visiting their homes and finding out how their kitchen works day-to-day. The customer service was great online too and we would definitely recommend DIY kitchens to our friends.'
Eric from Tamworth 'Quality was very good. No marks, dents, scuffs of any kind after delivery. One year on and the cabinets ate holding up well with no issues of any kind. Kitchen was £1000 cheaper than a big name kitchen supplier and ours with a much better spec. The kitchen was £4000 cheaper than a local company for a very similar spec.
I was told about DIY Kitchens from a friend's father who has been a kitchen installer for over 30 years. He said I should definitely check out DIY Kitchens. Very glad he told me about them. '
Alex from Manchester 'We’re happy with the quality of the units, even the kitchen fitter was surprised with the quality and ease of installing the kitchen. (Only took 2 days to fit the kitchen cupboards and they usually allow approx 4 days). Nothing was missing on the delivery however a unit arrived damaged which was promptly replaced.
The online planning tool was helpful when pre ordering and the pre sales support was excellent - they helped with a few queries I had.
On the units only, we saved around £5000 (we bought appliances and the worktop elsewhere) when comparing to another well known brand.'
Anthony from Chepstow 'Love my 'DIY Kitchens' Kitchen. I ordered the 'Norton' in Dove Grey and Cobham Blue. Despite being told by a leading kitchen retailer that, for my budget, I would not be able to get solid wooden unit doors or Quartz worktops I managed to get both and be within budget by ordering from DIY Kitchens.
The online planner was great, allowing me to tweak the design which then updated in real time, the costs of the kitchen, making the whole process totally transparent.'
Andrew from Cheshire 'Excellent quality kitchens and great customer service. Would buy again and recommend. We decided upon Sage and Heritage Green to compliment each other.
I found the kitchen to be well made, good quality and easy to fit. Customer service pre and post delivery has been excellent. I would recommend this company.'
Steve & Family from The Wirral 'DIY Kitchens is the place to go if your looking for a quality built and stunning kitchen. From ordering to delivery the process was hassle free, with an easy to navigate website, and an extensive showroom with pleasant and knowledgeable staff.
Very competitive pricing on high standard units, resulted in a significant saving on a dream kitchen. Would highly recommend to anyone. The kitchen is uplifting and a pleasure to use.'
Emma from Chester 'I lived with some friends for a while that had a DIY Kitchen and I was always impressed with the quality, style and value. So when I got my new place, I knew DIY Kitchens would be my go to. I ordered some samples, which were big enough to give you a real feel for what the cupboards would look like and they helped enormously in matching to a worktop.
DIY Kitchens were really helpful during the planning and proactive in dealing with some items that were not ready for the main delivery date. They ensured I had everything before my kitchen fitting.
My kitchen fitter commented on the high quality of the cupboards and ease of assembly. My little island is my favourite feature. I can chop and scoop waste directly into the bin. It’s also the leaning post and place where people gather with a glass of wine whilst preparing food.'
Charlie from Oxfordshire 'Please find photos of our amazing new kitchen from you. We have been so impressed with the quality, incredible customer service and choice available, so much so we have completed our utility room with your units too!
The price was a LOT more reasonable than other places we looked at and saved us a large amount of money. We have been so impressed that we have recommended DIY Kitchens many times to others, who have gone on to use you. Many thanks again, you have made our family kitchen complete!'
Jayne from Lancashire 'We are loving our DIY kitchen. We were recommended to use DIY as our son had ordered his kitchen from you a couple of years ago; after much research he regarded you as the best.
We visited the showroom & were impressed with the welcome we received & the quality of the products. Ordering was straight forward - with a little help from our son with the design! We did not even look at other company quotes as we were so impressed with the product quality.
We ordered extra end panels & our fitter was able to make a kitchen bench which has turned out fantastic. Our daughter has also ordered her kitchen from DIY so we are now a whole family having a DIY kitchen! Testimony in itself. '
Rebecca & James from Barnsley 'We made great use of the online planner, it was really easy to use and helped us to visualise our project. We received great customer service and support with our order. The kitchen units are really well made and we were able to fit these ourselves, without prior experience. We’re also really pleased with our Quarts worktop, it fits our space perfectly.
We were recommended by a family member as well as a colleague. We have been so pleased with the quality of our kitchen, as well as the price. DIY Kitchens excelled when compared to the cost and quality of other kitchen suppliers and we will be sure to recommend the company to others.'
Sue from Lincolnshire 'Here are the photos of my kitchen, we ordered the Malton Cashmere.'
Nicola & Dan from Yorkshire 'The quality of the cabinets and doors is so much better than any other kitchen we have had. We heard about DIY kitchens mainly through social media and DIY Kitchens was the most competitive price out of the quotes we had.'
Kate & Hai from Wolverhampton 'We'd heard about DIY Kitchens through the vast amount of recommendations we'd seen on social media, we loved the online design tool, which gave us the freedom to tweak and perfect our design. The process has been fantastic and the quality is superb, we couldn't have been happier with the finished result especially when we've saved ourselves between £10K to £15K based on other quotes.'
Katie from London 'Here are photos of our new DIY Kitchen! We were recommended online by Alex Steadman of The Frugality. Great quality of drawers and we ordered it in white, so we could paint it. Really love the pull out larder and the planning tool was really intuitive and great customer service. So much cheaper than any other quotes we received (almost half).'
John from Selby 'Here are some photos of our kitchen from DIY Kitchens. It's lovely quality with a good finish and attention to detail. We heard about you from my son, who has a DIY kitchen and we liked the quality. We only got a quote from DIY Kitchens.'
Chris from Canterbury 'It’s not the first time I bought from DIY Kitchens. As before, very helpful aftersales team who make sure you've got all your bits & pieces. Delivery team is fantastic and very careful too. On top of all that, you save a lot on high quality kitchen. I would recommend to everyone and will buy again for the next project.'
