Julian from York "Here are some before, during & after pictures. I have done all the work myself, took me bit longer than expected but I am really pleased with the end result of my Linwood Vanilla Units & Oak Block Worktop."

Norton Vanilla

Laura from Somerset "Pictures of my Norton Vanilla kitchen. Last touch will be the splashback over the range oven. But we can't decide on one yet!"

Dee from Wiltshire "Excellent quality units"

Elizabeth from Dumfries "Here are some photos of our lovely new kitchen.

You may remember I was your 'nightmare' customer! I had to keep changing the order as I measured up myself and not being well experienced in kitchen installation, got it wrong. My son-in-law - John Baird, who also ordered his kitchen from you and recommended you to me was advising me over the phone and also put the kitchen in for us when it arrived.

As you can see it all fitted in really well.

The units are Linwood Painted and we love the country style.

We are really impressed with the quality and also your customer service. The lady I spoke to (on numerous occasions!) was so friendly and patient with me. Also we enjoyed the tea and bikkies you sent with the delivery.

Thank you so much. "

Tracey from Doncaster "My sister ordered a kitchen from diy kitchens I was so impressed with the quality of the units and doors I ordered my own. Love it, looks so classy and even makes my kitchen look bigger. "

Claire from Leicestershire "We found DIY kitchens through a recommendation, we visited the showroom in Wakefield which gave us ideas both for what we did and didn't want, and helpful staff answered some key questions we had. I found the design really easy, I'm a complete novice, not even very handy at DIY! But with a tape measure and the paper diagrams provided it was easy.

Ordering was also easy, not dissimilar to my supermarket shop filling up the basket! I read the guidelines about the more technical pieces, eg end pieces, cornice, pelmet, and again found them easy. The kitchen arrived when promised. We checked it all on arrival and no issues at all. My builder fitted it and said it was excellent quality and he is now recommending other customers to also consider DIY kitchens. We did get quotes from some of the other usual large suppliers and even with their best discounts none could come near DIY, and they were also quoting for a lesser quality product, so it was an easy decision for us.

I like that my kitchen was made in the UK, supporting a British business. But mostly am absolutely delighted with the finished kitchen which has made a big difference to our home. I really enjoy inviting people round now to enjoy it with us. "

Trish from Liphook "We previously installed a brand new kitchen in a second home we have, using this style of door and were so pleased with the quality and price that we had no hesitation in ordering from DIY Kitchens again. "

Joanne from Billingham "These are pictures of my kitchen."

Mr Hayes from South Yorkshire "We found the units to be excellent quality and build

Very well put together, recommended to us by a professional cabinet maker, who also fitted the units

The tea and biscuits included in the packs are a nice touch."

Recommended by a work college."

Morag from Inverclyde "I love my new DIY kitchen which was installed last summer. Having a standard sized kitchen in a fairly modern house they have enabled me to make the best use of space with the excellent storage solutions. Everything is now so easily attainable."

Shane from Lincoln "We are extremely happy with our new kitchen, it is more versatile than our previous kitchen and looks excellent. The units have come together as we imagined and provides an immensely pleasant environment within our house.

We reviewed many kitchen suppliers and were most impressed with your showroom and the no nonsense pricing. the quality of your products stood out and were miles in front of your competitors."

Ben from Cheshire "We were opening up two rooms, to provide us with a lighter, brighter kitchen/dining room, so there was building work to be done before the new kitchen could be installed. Whilst this was going on, we studied on-line reviews of fitted kitchens from different companies. The name DIY-Kitchens (previously unknown to us) kept appearing, scoring higher than other brands we had been considering for value, quality, and most importantly, service. The website showed product ranges which seemed to be to our liking, and we prepared a rough design for what we would choose. We followed this up with a visit to the first-class showroom in Yorkshire, where we were able to view our favoured styles and fittings, ask detailed questions of the helpful staff, and sit and have a coffee whilst making up our minds. Also, one of the show kitchens gave us the idea of including a feature section in a different style, which proved very successful.

We selected the Broadoak Ivory range for our units, with a feature unit and some details in Broadoak Light. We used curved base and wall units very successfully to soften the end of the units, on entering the room. We chose glass doors for some wall cupboards, and would have liked the option of glass shelves for these, to allow internal lighting of glassware within (we sourced these shelves locally afterwards). The worktops are Second Nature solid oak, with locally-supplied granite on the food preparation feature area, which has pull-out larder shelves under it. Using the visualisation tool on the website, we were able to judge the overall effect of our choices of style and fittings. It would have been nice to have been able to select a wider range of wall colours, though.

The on-line ordering process was straightforward, and it was easy to revisit our shopping cart to check and recheck what we had included, before we placed our order. We used the telephone support line to clarify a few details, and the staff we spoke to were a pleasure to deal with. They checked our order, and phoned to confirm that we had intended to order units in two different styles. We ordered certain appliances from DIY-Kitchens as well, as their prices matched those from other on-line suppliers. We were easily able to reschedule delivery of our kitchen when the building work took longer than we had hoped. Delivery was later than predicted on the chosen day, mainly due to traffic delays, but the delivery staff were most helpful, and all items were present. We had been warned that the glass wall unit doors had a longer lead time, but they arrived a couple of weeks before the scheduled date ? more or less when they were actually needed!

Our builder, who had not encountered DIY-Kitchens before, was impressed by the quality of the pre-assembled carcasses and the fittings, and more impressed when we told him the price. The units went in as planned. The builder had a bit of a struggle fitting a couple of the integrated appliances, due to limited space for pipework and wiring, but these problems were overcome.

We had underestimated the quantity of plinth material needed, so we placed another order to rectify this as soon as our builder noticed it, and the additional material was delivered before it was required.

Now it is finished, we are delighted with our new kitchen. The overall effect is exactly as we hoped ? light and airy, with clean modern lines, but based on quite traditionally-styled units. The result has been widely admired by family and friends, and both our builder and architect asked for photographs to include in their portfolios! The whole experience of choosing what we wanted, and then seeing it take shape, was very satisfying. It was made easier by knowing, from our first dealings with them, that we could rely on the support and service of DIY-Kitchens throughout. Many thanks! "

Geoffery from Daventry "Exactly as we had in mind.

We made a round trip of 240 miles to visit the showroom before ordering and were really impressed ,we also had a factory tour which we found very interesting. Would not hesitate to recommend!!"

Jane from Yorks "Very good quality, pleased with final kitchen. Showroom worth a visit.

Fitting was very easy, for a semi professional to fit.

Work tops purchased else where, we required bespoke cut oak "

Michael from Surrey "Dear Sir or Madam

Only just managed to make the final touches prior to Christmas, a long job but a great result. We are very, very pleased with the units we chose and interest shown from friends who have seen it in progress. Two couples have already been up to see your showrooms and one couple already purchased.

Have attached some shots that may be of interest to you. Also the fitter was Chris Rawlings, a local fitter living in Worcester Park Surrey. Chris made a superb job of fitting cabinets, machining and fitting the worktops. Also plumbing and electrical works. A very tidy working who thinks carefully about how to progress the job and overcome those inevitable problem areas.

Thanks again for all your assistance when planning and ordering the items."

Griff - London "Very pleased with the kitchen. We've never done one before, so we were apprehensive about using an online based supplier. But we travelled up to your showroom, and Daniel went through the whole design with us, which put us at ease.

Particularly attractive is the transparent pricing structure, which you just can't get from the high street suppliers. For instance we needed extra deep wall units, and the charge for this was all up front on the website.

Kitchen came and was delivered on time. When we were short of a door handle, I phoned up and an extra was put in the post free of charge the next day. The kitchen fitter tells me this was a dream to fit, since the units were very rigid due to being pre assembled.

Would definitely recommend the whole experience."

Peter from Leeds "Simple, uncluttered design making good use of space. I found it very easy to install, good instructions, well packed, delivered on time. "

Andy & Pam - Aylesbury "We arranged a visit to the factory and showroom before purchase which was very worth while. Ordering on the website could not be easier, and a follow up call from the sales office makes sure nothing is missing or misunderstood on the order.

We are very pleased with the finished look and practicality of the kitchen units. The quality of the units themselves, the doors and the fittings is every bit as good as much more expensive kitchen suppliers.

The oak worktops are very good, but be prepared with a team of helpers on delivery day - they are incredibly heavy!

Delivery lead time was exceptionally quick and communication regarding the day and time of delivery was excellent.

I did my own installation and found your response to a couple of minor issues both fast and comprehensive. The pre-assembled units save a huge amount of time, and the ability to request 'dry' assembled units make it easy to make modifications where required, and to get our corner unit through the door into the house. was discovered by searching the internet for suppliers. It was the only supplier we could find that offered a quality comprehensive solution at a sensible price."
