Decorative Skirting Plinth Kit - 125 x 2770mm - Please note that this is a timber product and as such is not Waterproof. Any moisture left on or in contact with this product could potentially penetrate the skirting, especially if it has been trimmed to fit in situ leaving any raw edges. We recommend that all cut/trimmed edges are re-sealed with an appropriate product before fitting in situ. We do also sell a plinth dust skirt, this item can help as a moisture barrier giving some protection against spills whilst they are cleaned from the surrounding area. Moisture ingress can cause swelling of the product and damage to it, effecting its appearance and aesthetics. Also please be aware that as a decorative piece of skirting/plinth at floor level, it will be prone to scuffs and knocks or even scratches as is common in a kitchen environment. Products may need to be touched up or repaired by customers on site if and when damage occurs to maintain its appearance.
