Lighting
Some well-placed unit lighting, can illuminate the insides of any dark cupboards and help you to see and access the contents inside. If you are wanting a little more light, to illuminate your worktops whilst preparing food then some under unit lighting would be a great investment.

A slimline circular diffused downlight kit with a magnetic easy-fit bezel. Perfect for installing under cabinets, this classic light features a diffused cover giving a uniform glow with no individual LEDs visible. Its neat, simple design and natural colour of light makes it a perfect choice for both contemporary and traditional kitchens. Once the light is screwed to the cabinet, the magnetic, brushed nickel bezel simply snaps into place to cover the fixtures. Owing to its slim design, this light can be surface mounted and used with or without a lighting pelmet, depending upon the desired finish. If you choose to use this light without a pelmet, you might want to consider drilling the underside of the cabinet to hide the cable. Our images show both options. This kit features 2 lights and the driver you need to install them into your new kitchen. We recommend spacing these lights 600mm apart. The driver in this kit can be used to support a further 4 lights in the same run. If required, these can be bought separately as spares. If the extra lights are to be used in another part of the kitchen with another power point, it may be more practical to use a separate kit. This kit is designed to be hardwired into the mains by an electrician. If you would prefer to plug the kit into a socket, a mains plug is available as part of the range to purchase separately.

A multi-purpose superior LED strip kit for illuminating your kitchen. This versatile kit has applications to suit both traditional and contemporary spaces. It particularly suits our Luca kitchen ranges with a j-pull handle where, if there is enough clearance, it can be used under the worktop to illuminate the handle profile. If you have electricity in your Luca kitchen island you can use external corner posts and continue an illuminated handle profile around all four sides of the island. Illuminating horizontal lines in your kitchen can make the space feel wider and gives a sleek, linear look. Using LED chain lights on top of your wall units, against the wall can also give an interesting visual effect known as a wall wash. This works beautifully in traditional and contemporary kitchens alike. This kit is designed to be hardwired into the mains by an electrician. If you would prefer to plug the kit into a socket, a mains plug is available as part of the range to purchase separately. Running lighting along the plinth line can give a floating effect but its not currently possible to run lighting along the plinth where there is a dishwasher installed so you may want to factor this into your plan. This is a superior LED chain with 120 LEDs per metre. The LED chain comes with adhesive 3M VHB tape applied to the reverse and each end of the 5000mm reel has a connector to enable you to create two runs of lighting from one driver. The LED chain can be cut every 25mm. The kit also contains a spare reconnection clamp and connector to enable a third run. Also included is a corner connector which can be useful at the end of a run to take the chain around a 90 degree corner however, we recommend, where possible, to have two separate runs meeting at a corner point as this prevents small dark spots or gaps in the light. If you have a connector and offcut of the chain left over from the kit, that you wish to use in another part of the kitchen, you can buy a separate 15W driver from the range as a spare to run up to 3750mm of LED chain.
